I take delivery of one this week. Looking forward to giving it a workout at our off grid cabin. I always seem to have issues with the gas splitters. No matter how careful I spill some gas or oil when changing the oil. Then the issues with plugs, air filter. I have great solar system and am in love with the Ego products they do not have a log splitter. This looks great. I absolutely love your snow machine. I could use one of those. We have a 3km treck through the snow to get into the cabin after a few snow falls. Great review

Oh man we have been really busy re-organizing a business we own and it’s demanded all our attention
Maybe needs the wheels breaked or having some way of not rolling back. Looks quite powerful! How does it go on logs that aren’t just straight grained but twisted? How long did the battery last? Or how many logs split before needing a change of battery?
Great questions! We haven’t split a lot of twisted grains yet but we have been able to get it to jam when it has a lot of branches too close together. It kind of smashes the wood, you have to reset it, move the log around, and then try again.
We have been using the 6Ah battery (because that’s what we have at the cabin) and after an hour of splitting it was still full. We haven’t counted number of splits yet.

Great question and answers. Looking forward to more reviews..we have an older house and our electrical can't handle the 15v electric splitters. Gas isn't an option due to noise, so I'm very hopeful about this.
