Hi Alex and thanks for this new video ! Yamaha Neo’s electric scooter seems to be designed with a specific user in mind: the inner-city commuter who values build quality and eco-friendliness over speed and range. From my perspective it's to expensive and a normal scooter is better solution ! Best regards to you and to all your subscribers!
Please I have the same vehicle but when I switch on the key 48V appear on the screen instead of 72V. Please how can I reset the voltage to 72V when the key is on
Well, I guess those small scooters with a small displacement engine, specially with no sound are really dangerous on the road they are not visible by car drivers. Thanks for the review
That's normal in Bangkok, Scooter riders riding against the traffic. Great video Alex. 🇹🇭🙏 Way too expensive for a toy Scooter which is poorly designed and digital speedo is awful.
Commenting from viewpoint of guy who does a lot small trips and occasional 300 km trips with 50 cc scooter...would not work for me. Untill they get about 150-200km real world range and lets say half an hour recharging time. And that with lets say 30 kg of luggage. (You'd need anyways a rest pause after that long ride.) And all that with competitive pricing. My current Kymco scooter gets about 180-200km with full tank, depending on road, weather, and how much stuff on carrying.
The damn batteries are still too expensive.. Basically you pay twice as the same class with petrol equivalent. But you are right, they are fun on the smallest streets and you can get away with dumb stuff 😁😁
That's what happens when 2 idiots meet. Me riding the sidewalk and him riding the wrong way down the street. =))))) These electric things are no good, bring out the idiot child inside and make you do dumb stuff.
Too expensive as you can get much better Chinese electric versions for much less with better equipment on board. Nice video and I would not use it on the pedestrian path as police will get you eventually. All the best 👍
Obrigado Alex pela carona!
Aqui no Brasil ainda vai chegar...
A partir de fevereiro, 😎✌️
Shuuuu been a while. Glad to be back 🎉👏

If you get access to the new hybrid scooters in the future it would be awesome to see you ride them!
I really eager to see the hybrids of the future

You could ask you local Yamaha dealer.

I only found out the price after the ride and yeah, waaaay to expensive for what it is.
what about security because there is no ABS
Be careful with the brakes I guess. Not all scooters come with ABS.
This is the first video in the history of the channel, when the term:"punch it",almost had a literal meaning.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This is some weird 5h13t even for me.
😂😂😂 New level unlocked.

❤❤❤
How many kilometres on a full charge
They said 40km on one battery
How long does the battery take to fully charge?
@@luiscarlosarias2126 I don't know I only had it for a 30 minute test ride.
35 km
Alex how many horse powers?
About 3-4 hp I think
@@RideWithAlexthere must be at least 13 horse powers,
Alex and Europeans citys have 20 mph now like London,
20 mph limit
pretty cute little machine
Nice little scooter, but it very impractical due to its price point and the cost of replacing batteries.
It's defenetly not for the budget conscious

In fairness they are cheaper then they were 5 years ago, so maybe in another 5 years it's going to be ok
Almost crashed😁on silly speeds also as always with a 50cc hooligan scooter!

Funny how everybody disregards urban speed limits :) Nobody goes 30 at 30 zone :D
Don't you mean speed suggestions? 🤔
@@RideWithAlex In Finland those are not suggestions. Cops are really keen on fining drivers :D

comment for algo
30 mph is too slow on today's faster roads, that makes this scooter dangerous to own.
În european towns it's ok în some areas.
run for 1.5 hour rest for 8 hours to charge🤣🤣
Too dangerous, it's quiet.
