This is so well done. Everything. Choreography, costumes, acting, singing, camera-work, make-up, lighting, set design. They nailed it. All of them. I keep rewatching just to catch all the little details.
It is an absolute crime that he did not perform this while he was on tour 😔

DROVE ME NUTS.... how the vet was holding the program open through THIS and the entire Maybe This Time number. Was such a weird lapse in direction. Like.... did no one notice??
I just thought now.... I wonder if it's how they got the rights... if it was promotional.
In-universe explanation, Ted is a tool who probably forgot he was holding it or just did it for attention
I like to think Ted’s holding it like that the entire show and using it as a face shield for any “risky” dance moves from the ensemble (bc I find it funny) they had a literal coffee cup on game of thrones so simple mistakes like Ted holding his program open throughout the show is most likely due to them just shooting all of their coverage of the character in the audience at once
If nobody created the full show of Cabaret with this cast, it's considered a crime. Look at the kick Alexis did! That's perfect! We could get a little bit of Alexis in this number. And come on ... out of all Cabaret's Emcee, Patrick is the hottest one!
I think this is better than the movie version!
