What's so hard to understand...This is Tamar's song from her 2000 album which Jada Pinket sang a small part of in the movie. Whether Jada was actually singing or lip-syncing is not the point. When the movie soundtrack was released, this version of Tamar's song, being sang by Tamar herself is what you purchased. Not Jada. Had Jada re-recorded the song for the movie then Jada's version would have been included. But we all know that although Jada does sing, she can't hit these ranges the way Tamar can.

it was always Tamars song they just had jada pinkett sing one small part bc it was said jada pinkett used to be a singer. it wasn't meant for tamar to appear in the movie. But jada singing showed she came to church and showed she forgave her husband. That doesn't stop that from being Tamars song.
