I am so glad, I lived well under my potential living standards that others lived allowed me to retire while those others have to work to build up their savings. On my retirement cake, my wife put a picture of the crappy Ford Taurus I drove and lived in a cheap apartment that allowed me to save and invest while my friends were driving hot cars like Mercedes, Audi's, Volvos and such living in Godzilla homes with granite countertops in their bathrooms. I now wake up when I want to and take little vacations here and there.
Also, a solution can be to enjoy the process, realising that working in the proper occupation for you and investing to develop your financial freedom can be the best part of your life.
Retirement is freedom. Looking forward to it. Just hope Ken doesn"t retire. At least keep making the UA-cam vids plz! And new books are always great.
