Hey TG! Wow - big kudos for an excellent video!! Well shot and edited (lighting, sound, music, everrrythang!) Loved your professional and very informative, yet relaxed style of presenting.
I've worked in the food industry for over 30 years (so I know a little bit about cooking) and really enjoyed how you explain in a clear and helpful way how to get the best results. Loved the fact that you also explain WHY you do what you do at certain points, because that helps people to understand the meat and cooking process, and realise that it's important to do those things for a reason.
Loved your sense of humour when you needed a cloth and one came flying at you!! Lmao! Well done again to you and all involved. I've just subscribed! Keep it up guy! Tracey

Thanks for this! I am usually a high heat braai person, so I am glad that I watched this. I am attempting this piece of steak tomorrow. Super excited!

@@TravelGigolo I first did a dry brine for almost 20 hours. And then I followed your braai method and also watched this guy as well > ua-cam.com/video/cEgNPDXKVX8/v-deo.html. This is easily one of the best steaks I have ever made! I didn't even use any spices except for the salt of the dry brine.

I must try the dry brining. Will do this with my next braai. Picanha is my favourite cut. I came across this when I was in Brazil many years ago at the churrascarias. I'm surprised it's still so little known.

@@TravelGigolo I saw this by chance in checkers. I can see why people like this cut. Yes! Please try the dry brining, it really takes the meat to the next level - it is worth it! Check out the link I posted. Pretty fun dude.
Ahw that is so cool!! I wish to travel abroad some day. I will add Brazil to my list
