Thank you for your comment. Takadanobaba is convenient as it has access to both the Yamanote and Tozai lines, making it easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. Additionally, the rent is relatively affordable, and there are many international students and students in general. However, it can feel a bit cluttered, and the safety level reflects that, so it's something to consider.
It’s not a particularly unsafe area compared to other places in Tokyo. Since many young foreigners live there, it might be a comfortable place for young foreigners. However, there might be reasons for the relatively low rent despite the convenient transportation, so it’s worth considering that as well.
