This was the first book I ever read, at age appropriate. Thank you Mrs. Murray my first grade teacher who taught me how to read. Still couldn't read very well but this book I fell in love with as the pony Misty reminds me of Tonka the pony Gpa Hill gave to Uncle Don's kids. We kept our pony at Gpa's farm so didn't get to keep it or ride. But in Indio, CA at the sanitation plant run by my Uncle Don, he kept the horse on works land. We would walk over in wet sweat suits soaking wet, saddle Tonka or not and ride her back to the house on Commanche St., Indio, SoCal. By the time we got back to their house we had a break in house then got sweat suits wet again and out we would go to play and ride Tonka. I loved that horse so much. I loved taking care of her. So much fun & met the love of my life Eddie.
Beautiful movie, FANTASTIC children, what happened to kids nowadays? Even lots of adults don’t have such manners and good behavior. This movie should be one of lessons in schools.
You mean a "Hallmark-Style" movie where the lead character isn't a successful model type beauty in her 30s, who is a huge success in the city but, when visiting her hometown, finds out that's where she belonged all along and her high school boyfriend was her real "Mr Right". That encompasses 90% of all Hallmark movies...
Best movie to watch with my two young daughters. Now that they are older, they can watch with their daughters! Thank God for a decent, G rated film!
