I think the entire idea of ASMR is to soothe, but I agree with you mostly they're just annoying. As for Mr. Qxir, he's just got a charming Irish lilt. I wouldn't call it ASMR or even an attempt at it.
ASMR is great! You should try listening to some of the more creative and directed ASMRists, rather than the more basic and general ones that seem to dominate the genre. I mean, maybe you have, but if you haven't I think it's worth doing so! ASMR is great to listen to while playing games, working, cleaning, or going to sleep (granted you can dedicate a portion of your attention to it lol). Ephemeral Rift and JimASMR make amazing stuff! JimASMR focuses purely on roleplay, and has serious effort put into it. Things ranging from Modern Warfare, Elder Scrolls, Original Stories, Norse Mythology, etc etc. The idea is to tell a story using your perspective and ASMR as the avenue to do so. Ephemeral Rift does both roleplays and general ASMR and has an entire universe with dozens of established character that have been set up over the span of 7+ years. I think the reason ASMR makes some people uncomfortable is because they find it too "intimate", or sexual in nature, which a large majority of ASMR is not. Check out a few videos from those two creatures if you want! You might find them entertaining.
You know what's really cool about the black eye galaxy? The outer half and the inner half rotate opposite directions, because of a hypothesized galaxy merger that happened relatively recently. Because these two regions rotate opposite directions, a large clump of dust is stuck in the middle of the galaxy, making that distinctive "black eye"

Most people don't know that Einstein said that singularities are not possible. In the 1939 journal "Annals of Mathematics" he wrote "The essential result of this investigation is a clear understanding as to why the Schwarzchild singularities (Schwarzchild was the first to raise the issue of General relativity predicting singularities) do not exist in physical reality. Although the theory given here treats only clusters whose particles move along circular paths it does seem to be subject to reasonable doubt that more general cases will have analogous results. The Schwarzchild singularities do not appear for the reason that matter cannot be concentrated arbitrarily. And this is due to the fact that otherwise the constituting particles would reach the velocity of light." He was referring to the phenomenon of dilation (sometimes called gamma or y) mass that is dilated is smeared through spacetime relative to an outside observer. This is illustrated in a common 2 axis dilation graph with velocity on the horizontal line and dilation on the vertical. The graph shows the squared nature of the phenomenon, dilation increases at an exponential rate the closer you get to the speed of light. General relativity does not predict singularities when you factor in dilation. Einstein is known to have repeatedly spoken about this. Nobody believed in black holes when he was alive for this reason. Wherever you have an astronomical quantity of mass, dilation will occur because high mass means high momentum. There is no place in the universe where mass is more concentrated than at the center of a galaxy. According to Einstein's math, the mass at the center of our own galaxy must be dilated. In other words that mass is all around us. This is the explanation for the abnormally high rotation rates of stars in spiral galaxies, the missing mass is dilated mass. According to Einstein's math, galaxies with very, very low mass would not have dilated mass because they do not have enough mass at the center to achieve relativistic velocities. To date, this has been confirmed with 5 very low mass galaxies, all showing no signs of dark matter, in other words they have predictable star rotation rates. This is virtual proof that dilation is the governing phenomenon in galactic centers, there can be no other realistic explanation for this fact.

Actually first
Bless you for all the variety and soothing narration
Longtime watcher, first time commenter. That must be the most soothing video you've released, I'm a fan! Keep up the great work, you have one of the most underrated Channels on UA-cam.
"And as always.
Thanks for watching."
Ah yes. All I needed was this perfect video blend of space, music and Qxir whispering in my ear as I fall asleep.
i hate that all these celestial beauties are so impossibly out of our reach . it's probably for the best , but id love to be a space bound species . if that's even possible
I can't remember the exact quote or who said it; but words to the effect of "we are either alone in the universe, or not alone. Both are equally terrifying".
Bring more stories from the bottle, your art style and animation is impeccably pleasing to my donut brain
I love coliding galaxies, they are so beautiful in their abstract shape, truly masterpieces.
A Timelapse of Beauty and Tragedy

From his voice, Qixer has discovered the universe of weed.
If I suddenly became a God my first action with my newly acquired infinite powers would be to explore all those galaxies and the worlds in them
So beautiful, so mind blowing, such awesome images that make you feel so tiny. Space is incredible and scary AF
Fascinating stuff! Great content and a nice change!
This was strangely soothing! You should make a deep water abyss one sometime! 👌
0:17 nope, i just live here but my home is really far away
You're one of my "watch while I eat" channels. It's weird for you to post a "watch while I'm laying in bed procrastinating sleep" video. I'm not complaining though, I like this format of video
Lmao, why do I feel so sad for Voyager 1, which isn't even a living being? I can't imagine how lonely that kind of trip would be...
Didn't expect Qxir ASMR but it's fitting for the wonders of the universe.
Outer space is amazing. So much beauty we will never encounter. Thank you for the great vid.
The most haunting insight into the milkdromeda is that after enough time the galaxy will be so far away from everything else that it will not be able to see other galaxies. Whoever inhabits this system won't even know about the big bang, they'll just believe that it's the only system in existence.
"Hey, I don't think you should be eating that edible right before you record the galaxy podcast."
"Shut up...I know what I'm doing."
Qixir: "The Fireworks Galaxy ...looks nice "
The galaxy's creator: "Thanks. It *_IS_* a good looking galaxy, innit?"
Whenever i think about galaxys i think about how they spin, then i think about how our solar system spins, then how our planet spins around the sun, then our planet itself is spinning, then i just get a little dizzy from thinking of all that spinning.
A real departure from the norm, and fascinating, thank you.
Really enjoyed this. Kind of turning dread into something cool. Cheers from sunny Florida, USA
Its funny how we always describe space as unfathomably big, and yet are constantly trying to fathom just how big it is
0:54 *Currently shaking and crying right now due to this terrible information what are we going to do??*
“The Firework Galaxy looks nice. 🗿”
Where are we placing bets on if Oceangate is going to be a final moments or a tale from the bottle?
i love how you were making stuff about things like that killdozer one and now you're making this
omg ur voice in this is so calming and ahh i love u
“Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.”
― Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
New audio, new style. I like it, too. But some side of me shouts: seperate channel! Don't go soft on me, Lad!
By the way please do a video on jaws, PLEASE
Jawst 😁
Not gonna lie, but this is the BEST thing to watch while being super high 😉
Reminder to watch this video again tomorrow on 300uq of LSD
This was not the kind of content I was expecting from you but I'm all for it!
