  • Papuren (八 步 連) (also pronounce Happoren or Paipuren means “Eight steps at the same time”) & Nipaipo or Nepai (二八), which is the original cat in karate and was taken by the Okinawa master of chuan fa, Wu Xian Hui, also known as Go Kenki. The shape of the technical performance of the style is derived from Shaolin King Fus Vita Tranan developed at the Shaolin Temple.

Paipuren doesn't actually come from Go Kenki. It comes from a Taiwanese guy called Sai Choko, who was active in Japanese karate world during the midcentury years. He taught the form in a seminar in the late 50's or early 60's.
