- After 4 months in Europe, a wedding and a grandchild in the making we're delighted to be back on board. Let's get ready for to sail from down under New Zealand back to the Med.

Thanks for the quick answer, we noticed that many of the Catamarans have beautiful graphics on their sides our current boat is called the Cool Breeze, and we wanted that painted on the sides and a graphic representing the wind underneath. It's been a pleasure communicating with you hopefully when we receive our boat we can meet up.

I love your videos. In the late 80th I was scuba diving near the whole in the rock. Pretty cold water then.
It still is pretty cold even in summer. Only the sun feels really hot when it’s out there

Delighted to see you both back on the boat, we had been concerned for Great Circles welfare during the cyclone, so good to see she is fine, bon voyage to Norfolk Is.!
We already knew that the wind speeds above land where ok, the biggest worry was whether the poles of the mooring were long enough as there was only 1 meter left at a certain point. They explained us that first the center of Whangarei would flood so in the end it would have been ok

The cyclone was a bad one aswell. For us personally we were cut off for a while from any towns but luckily we didn't get the worst of it even though the cyclone hit us head on.

Tutukaka is zo'n mooi stukje New Zealand. ( een van de vele duizenden mooie plekjes😂) misschien ooit terug komen en dan een rondje NZ doen. Fijne en veilige reis naar NC en we kijken uit naar de video's
Rondjes NZ hebben we al eerder gedaan! Zuid en Noord. Prachtig! Maar met de boot was vast weer anders geweest…

We’ve got 410 hours on each engine, we usually run it on low rpm. I guess between 1500 and 2500 liters since may 2021 plus around 150 to 200 liters for the genset. 600 liter tanks so we should have refuelled 5 or 6 times in 2 years

Nice! -- QUESTION -- Are you going to get the front repaired to original condition ie it was black carbon fiber before the accident and now it is white. The black looked so much better! What is taking Outremer so long to deliver that piece???
Your absolutely right about the carbon cross looking even better. Part of the deal with the insurance that if it’s replaced it will be in La grande Motte when we return the boat end of 2024 and hand it over to the new owner. Shipping it to Aruba in time was just a logistical impossibility at the time of the accident
We ordered ours before the 52’ was announced, we went with the 55’. I have a quick question that you might be able to answer, I've heard there is a problem with the daggerboards have you had any issues?

@@CatGreatcircle Well, the music comes across nice, clear and loud but most of the vocals are {the english ones} quiet and or indestinct to the point of being hard to understand. not just in this video but on many and I really want to understand them.. more entertaining that way. Do like your channel always but is difficult and no, it is not on this end.. Thanks, have fun
