Jollibee is a hugely popular Filipino fast food place that mainly serves Filipino/American style fast food. The spaghetti is Filipino style which is pretty different from the traditional Italian style. It’s definitely more of an acquired taste, the more you eat it the more enjoyable it is. Most fast food chains in the Philippines offer spaghetti.
I wish we have Jollibee in Indonesia (we did but it failed)
Filipinos have a very big sweet tooth so it's understandable why the spaghetti is sweet
@@nathanlim867 we do love our sweeeeets
@George Space Agency it probably wasn't suited to the taste of Indonesian people hence why it failed there.
@@jshazgaming5953 They failed to settle in because they're not a popular brand that Indonesians demanded, it's really hard to expand a business to Indonesia
The spaghetti is the kind of thing where if you grew up with you, you're going to like it.
Ah so it's more of a nostalgic thing eh
@@GoldenGully yeah, that's why Filipino's love eating it. Jollibee isn't the only restaurant to serve spaghetti that way, McDonald's does the same thing.
@@CallOn84 your McDonald’s serves spaghetti 😳?!
@@GoldenGully mostly it serves in children's parties here in the Philippines.
Hot dogs with marshmallows, lumpia, pancit bihon, fried chicken, and Filipino sweet style spaghetti.
I guess fastfood chains here adopts this type of nolstagic feeling when you first go to your friend's b-day party.
@@CallOn84 i think its just because its from phillipines
Your layover gonna give us a whole series
'Saturdays are my cheat days' is slowly getting taken over by ' I'm in Dubai for a layover'
Edit- thx for these likes💖and 2 more to 1k!!!

wtf is "a layover"?
Ty for Honest Review Bro
"It is sure better then KFC for sure"
Eric cartman is highly offended
Bro missed out on one of the best items, peach mango pie💯
Okay that sounds good
FR
Bro I could NEVER eat at Jollibee without getting that
you can't forget on how hot it goes and it burns your tongue lmfao
Deep fried pies, so good! Ube pies as well!
"So the tomato sauce itself is a bit sweet"
ITS BANANA KETCHUP
(ok so i started an argument..)
No it isn't bro.
@@DULUXXTREME yes it is look up a recipe
@@JaySivart-hq1jp it isn't. It's tomato sauce with sugar.
@@DULUXXTREMEit is banana ketchup. Filipinos use banana ketchup instead of tomato since they ran out of tomatoes in world war
@asharahmad1068 Yeah, it's a banana ketchup
The spaghetti is really an acquired taste. I used eat alot of sweet spaghetti compared to savory ones when i was a kid. Because of that, eating the sweet spaghetti just brings back childhood memories.
Bro been in a lay over for 69 years now
N we need that Kulfi content
69 likes, nice

You already know the Ramadan recipes about to be fire🔥
Aye my twin but fr tho
They gonna hit hard
@@Rediyie Just like your dad should do to you. 💪
Tbf Filipino cuisine are mostly sweet and salty, explaining the sweetness of the spaghetti. Also its not like other ketchup(made from tomatos), filipino ketchup is mostly made of banana so it being banana ketchup. So most brands use this especially jolibee
*_Luh bhie!_* 🤣 That's so delicious, and thanks for giving us your honest review. Highly appreciated. ♥️
"I'm in Dubai for a layover", so every day is my cheat day😂
Yesss! I totally agree with you. I’m Filipina and have only been to Jollibee twice, and don’t care for the spaghetti. The chicken is alright.
Try the pancit palabok next time.
What's that?
@@GoldenGully its a glass noodle with
garlic.
@@GoldenGully It’s glass noodles with veggies, protein, and a gravy. It’s delicious! Quang Tran made it and I was impressed. 🙌🏼
@@GoldenGully you wouldn't be able to try it. It contains pork .
@@BlightNight but then it's in Dubai, surely they will compensate no?
The last time I went to Jollibee was about 1 or 2 years ago, and I tried the chicken burger and it exploded with flavour that I couldn’t handle because I was not familiar with so much flavour instead I always ate some simple burger from McDonald’s or KFC so Jollibee is not a restaurant to go if you aren’t familiar with too much flavour or you just hate it. (I am not saying I hate it I am just not really into big flavours)
Spicy chicken joy with gravy and adobo rice or garlic ricr is the correct order. Maybe a cheeseburger (the meat is like meatloaf not like a normal burger). Theyre really really good.
“Let’s make jollibee kulfi”
You MADMAN
you MADMAN
You MADMAN
Oh Hell No you MADMAN
Peach mango pie kulfi sounds amazing!😮
This guy is always honest.
Nah. Often biased. I’m not only referring to this video
@@ichigomgx biased doesn't mean dishonest
@Ichigo MG you're just a sad Filipino 😢
Filipinos have that sweet tooth. We love our spaghetti sweet. Actually ive never tried spaghetti that isnt. So if you dont like it, i saw it coming. I think foreigners generally dont like filipino spaghetti.
By the way the sauce of the Spaghetti is not "Tomato" ketchup its Banana ketchup Idk if they used Tomato sauce in other countries but Banana ketchup is the traditional sauce of Jollibee spaghetti.
Jollibee, it's a Filipino staple. Wherever you go, there's always one jollibee.
Same for mcdonalds tho
@@asdfghjkleoty4729filipino staple* 🥱
I love this, just straight non biased opinion.
Speaking of opinions, maybe this is just me, but here in the Philippines are ketchups are Banana flavored which is actually a lot better than tomato flavoured ketchups/catsups.
This it's why I love jolibee lol
(I like the chicken more then the burger)
I keep forgetting people don’t grow up with Filipino spaghetti and get surprised by the sweetness lol
It’s the reverse with me and Italian spaghetti, it’s so… Idk, sour? A lot more savory that’s for sure
The chicken is the best part fr fr. So fucking crispy and juicy. Better then any other fast food location that serves fried chicken (I’m not black)
their chicken sandwich and peach mango pie >>>
Goes to show that different people have different palate. Its normal that a lot of people wouldnt like sweet spaghetti since that isnt the norm in the world.
Funfact:the maker of jollibee went to USA and found that all of the fastfood there is salty and the filipino like sweet so he came back and made a fastfood that is why the spaghetti is sweet
Man You Eating Fried Chicken Infront of my eyes it Just Melts and Water's My mouth OMG
Ketchup is literally an ingredient in Filipino spaghetti. And the ketchup used for it is usually made out of bananas. It’s apparently due to due to there being a tomato shortage at one point in the Philippines, and someone decided to substitute tomatoes with bananas one day. And now it’s a pretty common household ingredient in the Philippines.
Why is there hype? Because there are people who grew up with that dish in the Philippines. That’s the case for most regional dishes. Weird for outsiders, hype for the locals.
When I first tasted the Filipino pasta, I can actually feel the heartiness. Nonetheless, I do find the flavor profile similar to Hong Kong style baked pasta, possibly due to both using Ketchup (technically HK style is tomato ketchup + sugar while Filipino is banana ketchup)
Is it unique? Yes, some what. Will I buy it again? Not going to specifically look for it.
Jollibee spaghetti is a spin from classic spaghetti that caters to kids' palate, mostly sweet tooth, picky eaters, as a graduated exposure, before they can explore and savour different cuisine. We all have our preferences. So thank you for being nice.
One of my aunties actually work in jolibee and the ice cream is nice you can add mango or strawberry I think on the ice cream but I never actually tried the food
Thank you golden gully for trying hour Jollibee, fast food, restaurants, food
KFC And McDonalds are also in the Philippines it's in Cebu
FINALLY SOMEONE I CAN AGREE WITH
Thank you for your honesty.
Sweet spaghetti tastes like something went wrong. It just feels like toddler food. The problem is even "normal" or "italian" (it's not) spaghetti here in the PH is still super sweet. Filipinos be doing diabetes speedruns.
You should dip the chicken in gravy, and eat it with rice! I highly recommend it
Spaghetti and sausage chunks is literally peak food. You can’t make a tastier meal
Chicken is fire with the gravy. I drink that gravy lol. The spaghetti is sweeter yeah. Because banana ketchup originated in the Philippines which is like tomato ketchup but sweeter. I personally like tomato ketchup though. Love the sourness of it.
Filipino spaghetti is a sweet based spaghetti sauce. Personally I like it (bcz im filipino)
Its very popular in the phillipines and also im phillipino.
You should try the Palabak (I could be spelling this wrong I’m sorry!) but that with lemon juice is SOOOO good.
Thank you, that's my favorite restaurant in my country.
Jolly Spaghetti are really made for kids thats why its sweet and has a hotdog ☺️☺️ kids here dont like their spaghetti sour made of smash tomatos ☺️
the Filipino spaghetti end target are mostly kids. That is why it is sweet style spaghetti.
Better try palabok. Better than spaghetti. You may like it.
Oh hi i love jolibee too because im filipino in philippines, theres so many jolibee hete in philippines😊
Actually if you go downtown at yonge dundas square and go down on the left when coming out of dundas station you will see a Jollibee down there and has the best chicken (in my opinion)
Yay u are trying Jolibee i'm from my hometown the Philippines! 😊
RESPECT FROM THE PHILIPPINES
Jollibee is my favorite fried chicken place because the chicken is always juicy and tender compared to sometimes dry Popeyes meat
Me living close to Toronto i wish we had a jollibee here
Fun Fact
There's a Fnaf Fangame With Jollybee Thematic
Dude try the crispy fries its soo good
Jollibee is also Halal in Singapore as well. I am actually surprised that Jollibee got so popular it got a FNAF-style Horror Fangame called Jolly.
Jollibee is from Philippine ,it's mix of fillipino spice and tangs in chicken , that how it started to spread place by place , but it start from 🇵🇭
THERES HALAL JOLLIEBEE?? I WANNA TRY NOW
Jollibee originated in the Philippines
Actually did you know that Jollibee‘s is the most popular Filipinos place and also they add sugar into a bunch of their dishes because Filipino people like sugar
Bro forgot the gravy 🙏🏾
Bro just summoned all of the Filipinos
As a Filipino the sauce is made of bananas that is why it's sweet
Thank you for soppurting Jollibee
It's a traditional style of spaghetti in the Philippines
It's actually a more recent creation
Right at the end of WW2, created due to tomato shortages
THIS WAS MY FAVORITE PLACE WHEN I WAS 1 YEAR OLD
as a Filipino, i prefer italian-style spaghetti over the filipino style, but i still like to eat it because my grandma has always cooked her spaghetti the filipino way 💗
atleast he didint spit out the food like benny did
As a Filipino Ive never had jolibee but it looks good
Its not about the hype
Its about the memories we had when we were kids
Our Jollibee we like sweet for example sweet mango and things so JolliBee is sweet
Im a Filipina, and i don't really ike the spag also, coz in the Philippines it's more for the kids'taste, not us adults.
As a Filipino myself I have always liked their chicken but despised their spaghetti
LMAOO WHY BRO GET A CHICKEN WITHOUT GRAVY OML!!!!!!!!!!
When there’s a Jollibee, there is a McDonald’s next-door
try it with the gravy next time it'll taste wayy better
No gravy on chicken is a crime
gully's layovers are turning into vacations
Fun fact gully there is a horror game about jollybee its a fnaf fangame its pretty gud but 2 of the games where taken down so ye just a lil fun fact
FNAF fans would probably recognize that there's a fan game "Jollibee's"
I'm from the Philippines and I really love Jollibee
It's time for Jollibee in an upgrade franchise to relate their international culture food than ours must limit or rare. I hope Jollibee will know soon worldwide and where the Jollibee from.
im Filipino and Jollibee is our go to fast food
Jollibee is amazing
My man’s hating on jollybee lol
To answer your question if Jollibee is huge; it's huge everywhere. The Chickenjoy is their main seller. It has a really crispy layer of skin, meanwhile the meat is extremely juicy and succulent, best paired with their gravy and some rice!
when we were young, my dad would cook spaghetti and I would hate it because its not sweet unlike spaghetti. I thought my dad just doesnt know how to cook spaghetti. turns out thats the way it is and were just hyping sweet spaghetti. though Im still loving my jollibee ❤
I swear I’ve been seeing layover videos for 2 weeks now you’re starting to become The Terminal movie in real life
If y’all are wondering why the sauce is sweet, it is because it’s not tomato :) it’s banana ketchup not tomato :))
You can get it in Philippine,Dubai idk more
I can't tell whether I should be offended for some reason or proud that another creator is talking about Jollibee
Not the spaghetti with hot dogs😭😭
Mario be like:what do you talking about for my spghetttiiii!?!?!?!??!🤬🤬🤬
I'm from philippines🇵🇭 im love jollibee😊😊😋
As a Filipino Jollibee is the best thing
Jolibee Is A Fast Food Restaurant It Has Kinds Of Foods Like Chicken Joy Gravy Jolly Spaghetti And Fries And Burgers You Guys Should Try It!
