There is now way your 35 measures 35 after being mounted. You are supposed to measure the diameter once mounted. Other than that shout out to Superchips. I had a JK Flashcal and after I rolled over and it was declared a total loss, I called to see if I could use my tuner on a JL. They reseted my tuner for free so all I need is the bypass.
thanks for the video just confirms ill be purchasing a tazer JL over superchips
Brandon Glendenning why??
Lockers in 4hi sway bar disco esp off option, if you add trailer tow or the aux switches you don't need to go to the dealer to program it the taser can do that if you add LED turn signals you can change the setting so it doesn't hyper flash without adding resistors the super chips is great but lacking options
I have the JL taser and its well worth the money!
Yup. This Superchip is nice, but the Tazer can also turn OFF the goddamn stop/start engine nonsense automatically every time you start the Jeep. It doesn't look like this Superchip can do that.

I love how you edite dout 1:15-1:20, and I understand, this is not an R rated channel. :)
Pressing the retention clip lets me pull each clip a couple millemeters, but no further.
I was cursing, were you cursing? What's the magic sause for removing those buggers?
After ur done setting the flashcal.....do u take both devices off
Do you always keep it plugged in or can I take it off after changing tire size etc?
u can take it off n plug it back in i did mine it keeos your tire size n gear ratio
@@mikestowe6136 thank you!
@mike stowe what about the little bypass thingy.. Does that one have to be always plugged in? Example if my friend let's me borrow his to adjust tire size and turn tpms off would setting be saved even after I remove both bypass block and programmer?
Can it turn off the annoying Auto off option? Hate it turning off at every stop and always forget to turn it off every time I get in it
Once you finish all the adjustments, can you remove the bypass? Or you need to leave it there for ever????
do you know whats the answer? im thinking as well
Leave it
well, at least I am not so confused. I have this for my JLU.
What about the start stop?
Did you ever figure this one out??
@@jayverduga5944 remove the aux battery.
do I take the superchip off after everything is calibrated or does it need to stay attached?
Anyone else get a blue screen instead of the back up camera when going in reverse now, after installing this?
Do you have to leave the bypass on after calibrating? If you take it off, do you lose your setting changes?
I'm wondering the same thing. I dont think you do I've updated to a 35 inch tire and ser it. Repluged it to the jeep and drove it. Checked and it stayed to a 35. Ut I'm still curious
By any chance do you guys know now if you have to remove it ?
leave the bypass and module forever? after recalibrating??
The way tuners work on Harley-Davidsons, they only need to be left connected if you're creating a custom tune, which requires you to run at different gears and RPMs. Since this one doesn't do custom tunes (yet?) doubtful it has to be left on. Guessing once customization is done, and flashed to the vehicle, disconnect and go. Happy to admit I'm wrong, this is just a guess.
does it improve fuel economy?
i got a question about the flashcal, I know on an older model of the calibration tool you could upgrade it to a flashpaq via the spark software, is that possible with this tuner?
Any idea how to activate halo lights on the headlights for Jeep JL rubicon thanks
I used this device to recalibrate my 35 tires on my jl and still have 2 to 4 km difference in the speedometer!!! is this normal?
DONMAZ7 Not all “35’s” are true 35”, put a tape measure to them and use that for your input measurement.
I have a question. On the JL Sport S, I have the digital and the analog speedo.
Are the two speedos tied to each other? If I calibrate my Jeep for 35”s does the Flashcal adjust both the speedos, or is the analog strictly mechanical? Thanks!
both
Hello, I own a 2011 Grand Cherokee 5.7 V8, I live in Dominican Republic
and Im not have a posibility to make a custom tune here because my mecanic said
he has to send the ECU to Miami because it is the first generation and he
can not do it here blablabla I dont Know, I'm trying to find a tuner device can give me some HP
and get better fuel economy, what you recommend me? what options I have?
When will a flashpaq be available for tunes?
Can you set the idle RPMs to *less* than what the factory sets it at?
Don't think that's a good idea.. it'd most likely get shaky and maybe lights would dim during stops
do i leave the bypass installed
weird my jk does most of those things with out a tool Torque is a free app where you could do the rest
Does it like connect BT or something 😂
It's possible change language?
Can it calibrate bpp sensor?
auto park disable that
Do they make it for eco diesel
I was gonna ask the same
Bought it for my 2021 JL and I don't think it's worth the money.
What is the "off road pages" option about?
Do these tuners void warranty ?
Yes, it does. Besides, the new JL has much better acceleration than the JK. I wouldn't do it. I've had both the JK and now the JL. The JL Rubicon is awesome.
My dealer said it did not void the warranty.
@@freddimmick9046 I never trust the dealer. I know your insurance company won't support you if your chip malfunctions the normal operations of your jeep and you crash it. When a pcm goes out, your jeep could stop operating at 70 mph. I would know, it happened to me with my kids in the vehicle. Chrysler had to give me a new vehicle because the chip went out.
Good point, thank you. I am going to another dealer who will try a re calibration after one could not do it. ( I have installed 35" tires). I will not be using a tuner because I thought you could remove it once the changes were made but I found out it reverts everything back to factory when the unit and bypass module are removed.
Gyula Takacs No it doesn’t. A manufacturer cannot void your warranty because you installed an aftermarket accessory. They have to prove in a court of law that the aftermarket accessory directly caused the condition as it pertains to your warranty.
This is well documented in many different Jeep forums.
Does this work with a 2.0 turbo engine also?
Mine is a 2.0t and they have one for it
I'm sorry. Korea acter Mr.박은석 📺. 😭😭I am so sorry..
