This video brings back long hours of my grade school youth spent on such missions . . . lol. Rockets, planes, cars nothing was safe from experimentation . . . . . oh the many trips on the bicycle to the neighborhood market to replenish the match supply. Not quite the same level of sophistication, no rocket motors, pure match-head propulsion, but surely much greater extraction of entertainment value for 8 yrs old. . . . . thank you for unlocking those memories . . . cool vid.

A good eye, creativity, and imagination. What fun! I once made a rocket out of an empty rocket engine container, cardboard fins, and the tip of a tube of caulking for the nose. It arched, slammed into the ground and bounced back up twice, then the parachute discharge poofed what was left into the air. Watching friends and family said, " yey.."

I built mine from revell plastic models, built around the solid rocket engines. Yes they would fly.
Mine flew much better and much further and on the most part, landed smoothly. That was 45years ago! The F-15 and the B-29 flew the best!

Actually little known fact this is how Mcdonnell Douglas came up with the design of the F-15E. In all seriousness you have some talent. My dad flew the F-15 strike eagle and the A-10 when he was in the air force. He also enjoyed your work!
