The reason why you see Larry giving Laurent the 'calm down' movement with his hands, is because Laurent had been having trouble with his knees, he had been having knee troubles for a few years. When he was on the WOD tv show 2017, he actually needed surgery on one of his knees, as it went the wrong way when he was doing one of his iconic moves during a Snapchat battle or whatever. The clip after the one with all the tricks where Larry told him to calm down is WOD Hawaii 2014, to answer your question.
Laurent's drop to the floor move is called the death drop. I think he does it less now that he's injured his knee - no doubt the death drop was a contributing factor!

Yeah laurent's dance moves are hard af even for him I remember it took me like 6-7months to learn how to do his death drop move a lot of my struggles resulted in me hurting my ankles n hitting my head.
The move that he calls it the death drop but incredible talented Laurent dances he kills it every time and they started dancing at 2 years old long time love them❤️❤️🙏🙏

Lau's move's called the "deathdrop"..They both can do most of each other's moves, except Lau's fearless (had many knee/ankle injuries), Lar's more cautious (had knee/back problem-car accident), but they can't NOT dance!!😍

The signature move Laurent does is called the death drop they're 2 versions the death drop and the 360 death drop where he does a complete spinning on his toes with his back hovering off the ground then back to its stationary position to complete the move... these moves are very hard and only a handful of dancers can do it.

thing is unlike EVERY OTHER ONE, les twins MOVES WITH THE BEAT, LITERALLY BECOMES THE BEAT!! but i like poppin john, nonstop is awesome too!!!! if ya haven't they have a dance together with nonstop poppin john and dytto very much worth checkin out from world of dance!!! also fik-shun is great too! les twin is great too cos they are tall harder for tall dudes use muscle control like this but les twins are best at the feet legs! but each one has own style actually! but you blink you miss!!!

Laurent is more flexible, larry pop lock and do all that krumpin and stuff, Laurent does the splits he jumps off high stages and do the splits hes always on the floor stretching his legs

Laurent did not invent the death drop, he gives credit to Jim Carey for that move. If you watch Living Color you will see Jim Carey do that move.

Larry does “fake” splits 😂😂 it’s where the back leg is bent and the front leg is straight. I call it the rockstar splits cause rockstars always pop out doing those type of splits but no he can’t do full splits like Laurent
