Tip 1: Don't sleep on the Ambush and Assault skills. If you lure an enemy to a climbable area, you can claim the high ground (hail Obi-Wan) and then wait for the enemy to lose interest, allowing for an instant kill.
Tip 2: Enemies love to hide behind doors and corners. scanning beforehand will save you a lot of health.

These are the kind of hints and tips that make sense. These two alone are more useful that everything said in the video which are pretty much just all basic shit the game tells you as you go.
A neat little trick. After staring at eve a bit, travel to another location and put the controller in your lap during the ship landing animation.

When resetting skill trees you won't get 100% of the skill points back. I reset a tree so I could put points into a newly unlocked tree and I lost about 8 points needing to regrind them out.

Another great video! I brute forced my way to NG+ with tumblers and tachy mode but to succeed on hard difficulty your videos really help. I totally overlooked overdrive and shield breaker for example

About 6 hours to release for me...game already preloaded and ready😁😁😁😁. Keep the tip vids coming..I need that info.
I was waiting for a certain point in the game where i can finally upgrade my drone to unlock chests. Turns out i just have to upgrade the only available drone skill. Missed a few locked chests because of this
Surprising to me, the most overlooked skills are the ones already unlocked at the start of the game but not explained in live combat tutorials (like how to jump). I watched 140 people play the game and only *one* of them used these skills.
You want to try and do side quests and pick up memory shards and other data as it progresses Lily's affinity which you need to get to 100% before leaving to the elevator to unlock another area beforehand, (Eidos 9) It also makes another ending available. It's easy to do so don't panic, you don't need 100% of shards and data, just keep an eye out on the top right corner of the screen when you pick up collectables as it's the ONLY way to check progress.
You should NOT do that on your first play through, though, or you'll miss the "Cost of Memories Lost" ending and Trophy.
I made that mistake and now have to do a 3rd play through just for it.
@@___David__ It's not a big a deal, It's possible to do a third run in about four hours or less as you're literally skipping everything. The game is fun enough to warrant a speed run, the only unfortunate things of the entire process is the conversations you can't skip. So you COULD do it first, but most people are going to explore, collect and trip the ending anyway. And I my experience, it's better to knock out everything in run one as you'll lose out on costumes on the second if you don't and have to do a third run anyway.
I did 100% of cans and outfits and about 90% of data in run 1, 100% outfits again (for secondary colors) and finished off ALL collectables run 2. And speed ran for the third ending on run 3. Got my platinum and 100% of everything.
Really wished you could Glamour/Transmog your Gear. I want the Extra Challenge from the Skin Suit but on the other Hand i also dont wanna lock myself in the same Outfit for the entire Playtrough when you have so much great Options. Why not give us Earings with the same Effect? I could live with having the same Earing all the Time.

From what I've seen (I've only played the demo), you can customize Eve's earrings, glasses, hairstyle/colour, and outfit.

My mistake - thinking enemy shields (for shield breaker) was referring to actual shields since the first enemy they tutorialize it uses a shield

It definitely gets more difficult after you get to xion and the wastes for sure but youre also going to get better the more you play so who knows? But yes ng+ is hard mode

Drone ammo not being sent to storage just seems so wasteful
They should have done it like Sekiro's "Spirit Emblems" where any extra go into storage and replenishes whenever you rest

How to use my stored shock grenades I have 8 stored but don’t know how to actually use them I have to keep buying more when I have a bunch in my bag
They replenish every time you rest. They go from stored to your active inventory.
Just press the Down button and she'll immediately use the equipped one. Hold Down to change the equipped one.

No spoilers obviously. I have a question about the point of no return. Afterwards, can you continue playing the game is that it and all the cool costume and unlockables become useless because you have to restart the campaign?

Fuck I don't know what the colour alert rings on enemy attacks mean and I can't find an explanation anywhere... I keep thinking yellow means it can't be Blocked/parried but I swear I've seen someone online do it and I think Purple/red tou can only dodge but or maybe that is white I can't tell it all feels like the same issue... I'm struggling to keep in mind what colour means I need to do what, it makes it hard to strategize on the fly
Yellow=dodge
Blue =blink
Purple=repulse
Check your attack skill tree in game.
Also, when they glow red, that means they’re about to do a combo attack. So prepare to block or parry several times in a row before attacking.
Yellow cannot be blocked or parried to be fair, check your skill tree for repulse and blink, you’re able to go to training grounds and practice them so you’re combat ready, I’ve got 175 hours in this beautiful game and it took me a bit to find my vibe, training mode was super helpful.
It’s so frustrating🤬 I’m being told about this glorious wonderful world to explore, and from what I can tell from MY game seems I am still stuck within the tutorial
After you reach Xion and get the second Hyper Cell, you’re able to explore the world
If anyone actually makes any of these mistakes I think they deserve whatever experience they get lol.

The funny thing about stellar blade is theres nothing sexual about the game whatsoever. The plot is a generic post apocalyptic sci fi story. Eve could literally be a mundane looking woman and the game would be unaffected
