Coticle edges are kind , and like you Eric , most slates are good as well . Your such a fast shaver ! Very impressive. Hopefully some more' safety' wet shavers will follow your example , great lather, and balm ❤ !
Thanks Martin. Yeah, I like seeing traditional wet shaving grow, some of that will spill over into what we enjoy. I think it’s important to keep pushing how fun and easy this all really is. The honing is just a bonus for some of us obsessed mad men 😜.

Using a convexed stone on a full or extra hallow ground razor, it’s very easy to get a keen and comfortable end result. But I don’t do it on my wedges or thicker ground razors.
I am still in the beginning stages of leaning convex honing, but so far I can see the benefits. As to which I like better? I will leave you with this. I prefer all my Gold Dollars convex honed. My TI razors are convex honed and I love them. My 3 favorite razors, (my best shavers) are not yet connected. And I am not real sure they will be. We will see how it goes, the fun part is the process.
How is it possible after each shave video you look younger? You almost look 19… almost. Great shaving as always and nice recommendation, I’ve had my eye on that same soap scent for a while I just haven’t taken the plunge yet. I’ll be waiting for your next video my friend
I have always been cursed with incredibly good looks. It’s a cross I bear with grace and dignity. Although I do think that I have found the fountain of youth with straight razor shaving off of naturals and tallow based soaps. I can feel my self getting younger and my testosterone levels rising. I just hope I don’t revert too far back. A second puberty would suck.
@@BigEShaves After I grew up and moved out, my Dad used to brag about how he automatically wakes up early…then I found out how early he goes to bed. I am having a great coffee, percolator style.
