I'm no music expert, but it sounds like Rise's has less percussion. I can't put my finger on it, but I do like the sound of GU's more. Rise's isn't bad, but something about GU's just sticks.
The Rise theme feels more like a chase theme to me, it's a quiet song, slowly building tension, and not really leading up to any pay off. While GenU is a loud and impactful song, it's a fight theme through and through, the song has the build up and a satisfying pay off. Both are good themes in their own right, but Rise is a little underwhelming
I just realized that it’s literally impossible for valstrax to suck in air during the cutscene because air at that high of an altitude is basically nonexistent so all that visible air around him makes no sense whatsoever
@@somedude2468 and that matters because??? Mount Everest is roughly around 29K feet which is very high with very low air pressure but yet planes manage to fly at or well above 30K feet so why is it so hard to believe that Valstrax can’t intake air the same way a jet engine would at a very high altitude?
@First Name someone’s salty. You can’t see air go into plane engines because the air is so little and spread out. The altitude that valstrax in on is way higher than any average plane could fly, which seems to look like the edge of the exosphere. For you to see visible air at that point of altitude, you would need to compress air unrealistically hard. The air also stayed compressed for a while and hit the floor, which implies that valstrax is succing way harder than the minimum. Any living creature near it’s chest would be crushed pretty hard. It’s not completely unbelievable, you can convince me if you give me enough solid evidence

I feel the same with Brachy and Teostra's themes between GU and World. They feel less powerful in world due to the less intense percussion.

Just my opinion but GU ver feels more intense, while rise ver feels more dramatic
Rise has more of a spectacle feel while GU has difficulty because of your lack of movement and hit boxes being wonky
@@eternalfinality154 i think hes talking about the music
Can we just talk about how goddamn high the peak is? and how much each hunter would have to climb to get to the peak...
this music reminds me of ace combat, fitting for a supersonic jet dragon.
Honestly feel like the newer one is faster paced and more tense. Like them both a lot
Original edges out but I like what the new version is doing 👌

You’ve never been on a plane have you?
@First Name never climbed Mount Everest have you?

Hmmm, maybe it isn't purely air. It has a dragon organ that operates independently without air flow, that blasts dragon energy when needed.
Rose's version is good, but I prefer Gen Ultimates version more.
He looks tough but as a new monster hunter player for me his attacks became very predictable after a single fight
did you fight him in rise or GU lol, just wondering, imo GU was a tad harder but not by much
