If you're referencing an imitation of Freddy, then I'd agree with you. However, the band wasn't looking for an imitation of Freddy because that would mean a replacement. And Freddy wanted the band to do something exciting, not just carry on with legacy songs and imitate his voice like he was still around. That's why it's Queen and Adam. Adam is more like Freddy in other ways and actually has a great voice. He's not a Freddy sound-a-like but a different take on legacy songs. They could also release new music. Adam was trained from his younger years. If you actually listen to his vocals, it's crazy. He has incredible range, skill, control, and knack for interpretation. The band notes that he takes the vocals further. I don't dislike Marc or think that he isn't awesome but you need to understand why choices were made. Adam carries a fan base and a wider audience. He's known for more than just being a Queen fan or singer and has a catalog of music.

Marc is so good. He's almost as good as Freddy. Love him. Wish he was with Queen, but I understand he sounds too much like Freddy. It would be too painful for Queen if he was singing with Queenn .

Marc is an absolute legend. I've not heard anybody who can sing Queen songs like he can. Adam Lambert can sing, no doubt, but his voice is a) far too American and b) far too musical theatre. He makes me cringe.
Maybe you should try some of his 90s cover series or his cover of Unchained Melody. Its interesting that you keep coming back despite the boredom. Try some non- Queen Martel and get your second wind ; ) And of course there's always his original solo album. Search for "Impersonator" and yes he called it that on [ironic] purpose : )
