Between Two Cans: All About Changing Can Sizes on a Codi Filling Machine

The CCL-45 Counter Pressure Filler from Codi Manufacturing is capable of filling a wide range of aluminum and steel can sizes with some simple component changes.
The height of the can, the body diameter, and the lid all factor into the changeover.
Changing the height only is the simplest change and only requires raising or lowering the fill heads and seamer.
Changing the body diameter as required to go from a standard to a sleek can size requires changing the feed screws.
Changing the lid is the most complex changeover as required to go from a standard to a slim can size. This requires changing feed screws, seamer tooling, and possibly height.
