But these women make NO mention of it. Very poor announcers.
To be fair - they are at the mercy of TV producers who always have an agenda - and Nebraska is currently the team that's been bringing in the most revenue and viewership! Unfortunately that can be super obvious and annoying to an intelligent volleyball fan 😅😒 If not for that, I don't think Holly Mcpeak has ever been that passionate a Nebraska fan 😅

That's for all the Beason-lovers out there who say that 'she contributes in so many other ways, other than hitting'.
Setter is the difference-maker at this level and Starck was the difference at key points in this match. Jillian Grimes was also brilliant - every bit as good as Rodriguez, if not better. And then Mruzik is in such incredible physical condition -- Nebraska got tired, you could see it, but Mruzik just got stronger as the match went into sets 4 and 5.
IJBOL cause Mruzik was the absolute shiner in this entire tournament. Her craftiness, her shots, her famous 4-to-4 cuts. Everything about her game screams turkey professional league. She basically showed in this match that she can do whatever she wants with the ball. She can go high hands, she can tool off, she can reset, she can find short seams, she can cut almost oddly sharp. I know she has like three degrees now, but I absolutely want to see her in overseas leagues. She has so much more potential to be a bigger star than she already is.
Nebraska full of showboaters. Choboy is the worst. She makes good plays look great an great plays look spectacular lol. Commentators were soo biased. I like many others wanted Penn state to win because of this. About half of the Nebraska fans left when the teams shook hands. Not even cheering for their teams effort at the end. No class at all. Nebraska dissed their original talent in favor of high-profile transfers (Beason and Landfair) who really only LOOK GOOD on camera, but simply don't have 'the right stuff' in terms of REAL talent and ability. If they kept Krause and Jurevicius as starters, Nebraska probably would have won it all. But that superficial, short-sighted greed did them in.

What was that! plenty of talented players sitting on the bench , I am sure if Coach benched her the last set, , they would have won. They needed her, she should have helped her team and took herself off .

He NEVER, EVER tries to over-hype anything, and he calls it like it is -- the good, the bad, and the ugly -- he doesn't hold back, or sugar-coat. He knows the names of all the players. He knows all the nuiances of the game, and viewers end up learning a sht-load about the game just from listening to him. These amateur announcers try too hard to over-sensationalize everything, and heap praise over everyone and everything. Paul keeps it real, and makes the event so memorable and special.
