I admit I love ski movies I'm just a chick from Alabama, but this one is awesome. This is a flick to vibe out to, there's a lot of ASMR inducing sounds and I love it. This isn't just a ski movie its a work of art.... total masterpiece.

Way too many jump cuts. ADD editing. I was in Whistler for the Julian Carr & Rob Aaring segment, but it's chopped to bits. I appreciate the time because it takes forever to film things given the multiple issues of equipment & weather related technical problems, but there's better one-take lines from random drone footage on UA-cam & without the unnecessary hyper editing.
half the movie is the same spinning cut scene.
Full of bloated editing of non-sequitur cut scenes that ruins the limited sequences of awesome skiing.
Had to fast forward half or so of it.. the skiing is good when show that, theres a lot of extra

there are way too many dramatic video effects in this film. and the music is horrible for a ski film. I don't want to hate on it, I'm just being brutally honest
I agree in the process of trying to add some drama suspense. This movie has become a little ridiculous scattered at times boring to watch.

feels like 20% skiing in this movie.. i have to skip more than i watch.. maybe its bc my adhd, but i cant just watch and enjoy it. so sad because the skiing is amazing...

Lots of potential and talent, killed with way too much editing, overuse of transitions and (bad) special effects. I wanted to like it but stopped watching halfway through. Less is more. Very obviously trying to point to a Hero's journey but I don't even know who our hero is, so many characters introduced!
