Oklahoma City isn't a super team, they're the first super franchise! The whole franchise will be chock full of all the players teams want, and all the picks, cap room and flexibility every team wishes they had. They'll never trade all their first rounders for a big star, NOT EVER! Presti is gonna kick these picks on down the road another decade or two. It's the smartest thing to do. A good pick today is worth multiple good picks 5 or more years from now. We have the luxury of being able to do that in perpetuity. We also have the best coach lmao.
@@curtisoltmann152 I see no lies told! One of the best run organizations in all of sports. 🔥
Best coach is a pretty massive reach lmao
@@saadatkazi1536 How massive? Coach of the year last year, runner up the year before...
@@saadatkazi1536 one of the best at the very least, they dont just hand out COTY awards these days
Harden: We could of had a dynasty going in OKC why did you ruin it by not paying me what i was worth. Sam Presti: Sorry Harden Im so cheap and will not pay that contract. My 1st prioritze has always been money. Never liked dynasties they are too pricey.
They about to be so versatile and deep
WE USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS! 🙌🏽 Love being in OKC and love being an OKC fan since day one. Thought the ups and downs, this franchise has always stayed true to hard work. LFG!!!
Finally someone else sees it sga is a generational talent and the team they are building Is crazy Knicks are the team everyone sleeping on tho
Yeah Shai is that dude! So many squads in the league got better headed into next season. It’s gonna be amazing hoops!
nah everyone huping tf out of nyc. to me its all talk until they show me sum
Are we thinking before we speak? They showed something last year when they went further than OKC with half of their team available @SGAthegoat 🤦🏿♂️
SGA got robbed of MVP LAST YEAR
I see the OKC coaching staff staying true to form, experimenting with different line-ups throughout 82-game season. But one thing to expect is OKC will save the legs of both Caruso and Hartenstein for the playoffs. It won't matter who starts as much as it will who closes tight games.
Not to mention with Nikola Topic coming next season along with 3 MORE 1st round picks one of which could be a extremely high lottery selection and another possible late lottery selection in a extremely deep draft, we are talking ridiculous talent. You could make 2 Thunder teams. Craziness.
@@wolfbane610 Just UNFAIR amounts of talent 😭
Topic is really really good too !!nothing like giddy he’s aggressive and can really dribble and get to where he wants to be, great finisher
@@CharlesGilgeous-AlexanderYea and Giddey should see a lot more opportunities on the Bulls too.
Cason lurking on the bench with Wiggins and JWill is nice to have to close out the season
@@808bboarder No doubt! Deepest team in the league!
Imagine we lock up the west and possibly homecourt for the entire playoffs but there's 12 games to go and we start those guys and Chet, Shai, Dub, Caruso, Dort all start off the bench for 12 games just to get touches while the other guys get hot too. Would be nice to have. Getting in the playoffs when everyone is hot and no heavy minutes for the most part cuz everyone is contributing well
okc on top!
Onslaught 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 yeah u are right
They HAVE TO """ PROVE IT FIRST STOP GIVING PREMATURE FALSE NARRATIVE
You hooped in this vid
@@TrillBuckets Appreciate the love as always gang!
On top of all this they have a million draft picks and can either trade for a 4th star or draft good players
@@Carlosthegoat418 TALK TO EM 🗣️
They still won't make the conference final
dillion jones and aj
@@Randcun The roster depth is ENDLESS lol
We will never fear The Thunder!!! 🤣 OKC actually looking pretty good tho!! Oh...as far as a Superteam....NO!! And even if they were....Pop have no problem with dismantling another one!!! Spurs4Life baby!!! 😎🤟💕💯
Definitely on dynasty time REBOUNDING WAS THE ONLY FLAW , that problem has been solved with the signing of big twin from the Knicks
@@eknowbrown_918 100%
josh is killing it in paris. definitely not a fleece and in 3-5 years it''ll be a completely one sided trade in the bulls favor
Not really a fleece for either team, if Giddey develops in Chicago good for him. He wouldn't have gotten the same chance in OKC as he will get in Chicago. In the meantime, OKC ships a promising player to a better fit for him and in return get a player that is a better fit for their team. Sure, he may he older, and on a shorter contract, but he adds things they need now, but also when it comes time to pay their other young up and coming stars, they can get off his cap much easier. Both teams got what they wanted out of that trade.
We know that. But we have a better point guard. That’s why Giddy played out of position for us.
@@zeroforced1853 I hear people saying the thunder fleeced the bulls. We got fleeced presti should’ve asked for picks but being honest the unfortunate personal issues tanked his trade value but Caruso is gonna be good if he can stay healthy.
They will be like Lester city in 15/16 season 😂😂😂
Not really. We’re talking about sustainable success here. Not a wonder year.
Chet got robbed...
Lu Dort starts over Caruso all day, tf?!
Caruso has more efficient shooting and nearly matches LD in stats beside rebounding but beats him in steal and blocks. It ain’t impossible to imagine
@@ishouldntbesayingthisbecau1257 Watch some playoff film. Lu. All day. Everyday. Any day. Stats don't come close to telling the story.
@@dougbrown6952
I do, I watch both because my my favorite types of players are scrappy defenders. They’re near carbon copies of each other with only a slight situational performance tilts
@@dougbrown6952
That and the bulls didn’t even make it to the playoffs and you beat my second favorite team in the pelicans so I had to at least watch someone.
Is Caruso bigger than Dort?
He's an inch taller but leaner. Dort is a bruiser on the defensive end but Caruso is a more technically sound defender
no, nope, huh uh, nada, noper, nine!
@@jefferyokelley6733 no he's not, if Dort played for a big market team he would have been 1st team defense. EZ. Ask Ingram, or Luka. And I guarantee you Lu will start over Caruso.
I wish Josh was here, the public nonfans gave him problems
He didn't want to do what the team needed him to do which was come off the bench. So it is what it is.
The Spurs and Pistons will each win it again before OKC wins it.
Wait, wait.
Don't talk. Watch.
And won't beat webanyama!
Okc got better this year. Mavs in 5 😅😅😅😅
It was in 6, it was Boston in 5 ;/
I hope you’re joking
Mark my words....the Giddey trade is going to go down in history as one of the worst ever. You don't trade a rising star that's 21 and was a huge part of a team that exceeded all expectations last year finishing #1 in the west. He improved every year and is only going to keep getting better and they just quit on him. Caruso doesn't even average 7 pts. per game for his career and he's good on defense because he sucks on offense and conserves energy on that end of the court. This was a really dumb trade and you're all going to find that out.
Only thing Giddy did good was pass the ball can’t shoot can’t play defense 😂anybody can pass the ball I’d rather have a guy that can knock down 3s and guard the opposing team best player
He kept getting worse in the thunder, not only that but he did horribly in the playoffs, it’s a great trade because giddey can’t perform well when he doesn’t get to shine, he’s also not useful when he doesn’t have the ball, if he becomes amazing on the bulls it’s still not a bad trade because he would’ve never reached his potential in the thunder.
Giddey couldn’t improve on the thunder he will be good on the bulls, but once again that’s not going to make it a bad trade even if he becomes better than every player on the thunder, because he wouldn’t reach that level in the thunder.
@@-OAK- You obviously didn't watch the Thunder play because he played great the 2nd half of the season once the crap with that girl went away and also against New Orleans. He played bad against Dallas but so fucking what. You don't give up on a rising star that's only 21 who has improved every year and played a huge part of a team that just went 57-25 and finished #1 in the west. That's idiotic. They might not ever be as good as they were last year. You don't mess with success, you just try to add to it. Caruso is a MASSIVE downgrade.
@@joeldriver-sp2rg I watched all the games I’m a thunder fan, dude he wasn’t improving, in-fact he was getting worse, he can’t improve when he’s surrounded by stars, and he’s not useful when he doesn’t have the ball, what’s so hard to understand about that? Even if he becomes as good as mj it’s still not a bad trade, because he can’t reach that level on the thunder
And you’re wrong about the 2nd half part of the season, he played great, because all of the best players on the team were taking a break for the playoffs, like I said he is only good when he gets to shine.
His rookie season was literally better than this season. You have to realize once again, he can’t be good on this team that’s the whole reason he’s being traded, if he becomes amazing so what, he literally can’t achieve that level on the thunder
He will continue to rot on the thunder, Caruso is a massive upgrade, vet, better shooting, way better D, improving, more impact on the court, ect
i don't think i'd go that far, but i agree the bulls did not get "fleeced" as people are making it out. i think okc could have done better with a giddey trade than landing caruso. the caruso trade is a "win now" trade, but i think it's a bit crazy to act like the window is only going to be open a couple years. it would be different if caruso was some kind of missing piece -- like the top flight wing defender we always wanted, but we have dort. i think the thing people are missing is that the entire organization is now sitting on shai's shoulders. he has to run the offense and put pressure on the defense every minute he's on the floor. when he's off the floor, who runs the offense? if he gets injured, then what? if the shooters go cold and the defense packs the paint, what's plan B?
