Please don’t get confused about cut off years for Assam Accord.
1971 is general cut off for identifying foreigners according to Assam Accord.
But for purpose of Clause 6 alone, 1951 is the cut off for finding out Assamese people.
Note the difference and know the details well.

Based on the information available in Assam government portal it is mentioned that the detection of Assamese origins and deletion of foreigners were mentioned from 01-01-1966 to 24-03-1971. Could you please clarify the same cause the request and demand of AASU was to update the NRC 1951 but the CAA 1986 was to identify foreigners and deport from 1966-1971, for Assam
