Reindeer Games is one of my all time favorite stamp sets. I absolutely love your shaker tags, and I can't wait to make some like this tomorrow. Thank you so much for the inspiration, Nichol!!
You're an incredibly gifted designer and artist, and everything is always utterly immaculate. Just perfect. But you're killing my bank account. Ha!!! Good times!!! Love this video. :-)
i'm not even kidding when i say i would buy an entire die cut machine and ream of blue cardstock and a set of copics just to make these tags for just about every occasion
The supplies used for this project are linked below the video if you click "show more". The dies I used to cut the tag shapes are: • Mama Elephant Tags A Lot (SSS) -- goo.gl/CdJxGz • Mama Elephant All Prettied up (SSS) -- goo.gl/EpTGFG The tool used to stamp the images is: • MISTI Precision Stamper Stamping Tool (SSS) -- goo.gl/2xd5Nt
do you have advice on which acetate you purchase? I have seen them in bulk packaging but am not sure if those types are thick enough for the shaker cards. Your shaker tag is absolutely adorable and I can't wait to try it!
The exact transparency I'm using was from Studio Calico and I still have a lot of it, however, they aren't selling it anymore or it's out of stock. I'm still on the hunt for something similar that's easier to come by but haven't found anything yet.
Have you tried the Grafix Dura-Lar film? It's a clear acetate. It comes in 2 thicknesses (as far as I know). I've been using the .005 thickness. It's archival, acid-free, and won't tear or yellow. It is an artist-grade product, but not too expensive, imo. It seems to hold up quite well, at least in my experience. I found it at a Michael's store, but I don't know if they all carry it. You can find it on Amazon here: www.amazon.com/Grafix-Dura-Lar-9-Inch-12-Inch-Sheets/dp/B002542SZY/ref=sr_1_5?s=arts-crafts&ie=UTF8&qid=1482537098&sr=1-5&keywords=grafix. It's probably also available at online stores like Dick Blick, Jerry's Artarama, Cheap Joe's, etc. HTH! :)
