The other kids, like Butterfly Baby are either used to process the traumas Kay/Miranda/Jane went through or are stuck in a sort of loop. Even Kay is relegated to one room. The trouble is that Baby Doll is closer to Kay's age than Dorothy's mentally so it's the equivalent of having a 7 year old play with an 11 year old and they both have issues.

In hindsight, Niles saying that Baby Doll is the last person he'd ever want to hurt hits very differently when you find out what he was prepared to do to his own daughter.
I gotta kinda wonder about the Chief's decision to pair one of Jane's 64 with his daughter who can manifest monsters. This seems like a bad idea from the get-go.

The characters on Doom Patrol are so interesting. Reality warping and wtf is happening at times but none the less absolutely stunning writing and acting. Not to mention the fairy tale inspired special effects. I'm enjoying this season.

The Sisters persuaded Jane to go to the Well, Driver 8 crashed the train so she could visit the sisters, Hammerhead, Driver 8 and Driller Bill stopped Cliff from going after Jane even though they knew damn well what was down there, simply because they hated Cliff. Then they pretty much ditched Jane for Miranda and we all know what happened after that. They claim Jane is at fault, yet they don't take responsibility for their own fuck ups. They left Kay alone with the one person they swore to protect her from. I'm sorry I know we're supposed to sympathize with Jane and the Underground, but the Underground can go to hell for this.
I know a ton of people hates what comes next and even despises the chief as do. Niles can be a scumbag sometimes, but let's be real. He realky does seem to care about Baby doll and her feelings. Even when we see that last shot if him, he is in a state of momentary relief seeing these two girls getting along because they are not only lonely but both his daughters and he is hopeful that things will tirn out for the best. And sometimes, the kind of hope that you have to do good for other sakes because you feel bad can lead to bad things because of how you neglect to see the outcome, but it doesn't change the sentiment.

Idk if you already watched it but basically this dude in the wheelchair is ancient, he looked like that back in 1914, and during that time he was lost in the woods in the middle of a cruel and snowy winter. He was eventually saved by a real cave woman, who he later had sex with, and the result is the monkey girl in this video. Now this girl is hella powerful and if not watched properly, she can easily end the world
