This is a very rare player piano built by Sir Herbert Marshall, Sons, and Rose of London, England in 1911. It is unusual because it has a dual tracking system that plays both 65 and 88 note music rolls. It is made of rich figured mahogany, and has an expression control regulator that allows the player to use dynamics with the music they play.
Mr Burns voice " excellent " Great house located in Ormskirk, or mansion Little history 15amp round pin plugs began 1920s era and fased out early 70s I remember re wiring houses as apprentice electrician, 15a caused many a fire, history over 🙂 Shame the owners have long gone, be a loveley house that, up for a good price, needs a lot spending thanks to the vandals 😡 Thanks for showing this one 👍🙂👏👏👏
That is a player piano; it can play by itself. The tune is represented by the holes in the paper that the piano "reads". Seeing one play for the first time is pretty cool. It looks like a ghost is playing the piano as the keys go up and down by themselves.
That was a fantastic explore. I love to see old books and the tea chimps on the wall was fab. Pethidine is a pain reliever and made me sick when I was given it. I can’t believe that so much good stuff has been left. The servants bells and fireplaces still intact were so good. What a lovely place it would have been. Thanks and as always looking forward to the next video.
Great to find the servants bell box. Very well filmed ❤
Thanks 👍👍
The piano is an organ x
Loved watching it
