Mr. Baldwin thank you for gracefully bring Ms. GuGu Matha-Raw into the conversation and highlighting her abilities. I loved her since Belle! Thank you Mr. Norton for casting the next superstar of our time. :-)
A terrific movie indeed. They are spot on with what they say here about the photographer. Right at the first shot I thought, "wow, this looks all right, no sense of CGI artificiality, authentic like you know it from the movies of that period." Outstanding music, narration, acting - really entertaining, touching, overall impressing.
Mr Rogers had Marsalis on his show- I literally grew up in his neighborhood - keep researching - if you want to know abt of Pittsburgh’s history I’m becoming a expert in its development in the 1930’s as of the depression was hot happening where I live now
Yo Edward Norton ! I look forward to seeing the film- I heard the song - as I follow that cat around forever - thank you for this enormous part of United States history - I am truly grateful you intertwined history the untold story of the development of nyc into a book about the beginning of the dot com or gentrification - as is known today perhaps because their collective behavior allows them a departure from being that character played by Baldwin-- Idk- well played - history lesson -- in cinematoc gestures that even the stills have life that has meaning in the universal language of fine art --you give me better questions :) I haven’t even seen it yet- did you really say I don’t mean to sound academic and than you quoted Joseph Campbell;) I find it important that we ate learned in life academies arts you bake it never stop learning and questioning - and never apologize for your wonder and that you create- jus saying -I’m excited to go see it :) thanks again XX c
Can an Actor look like a character they portrayed 13 years ago?? In costume? The whole make up and all. Can Norton still look like Eisenheim from the Illusionist, etc? Or will it be an older version. Just asking because I love theater, film, directing, etc.
there seems to be a weird trend lately of writer/directors taking a book and almost completely changing it for a movie. I'm thinking of Taika Waititi off the top of my head (with JoJo Rabbit). maybe this isn't anything new but it's still strange and I don't know how I feel about it.

I immediately fell in love with Gugu and the whole film...
Not hard to do see her In: Dr Who, Larry Crowne, Beyond the lights
I would love to see a remake of "Marnie" with Gugu and Idris Alba,,,perfection.
Shoutout to Alec for giving the stage to Gugu here.

It's called conflating for the appearance of inspiration.
Well I’d say it can’t be that bad if norton got the writer of the book to agree to their changes...
