This question is open to anyone reading this. We live in central Florida Kissimmee area. We have a Ricon lift S series private use on a van. The lift goes to the top, but will stay there. It falls back down like it's got a leak. There are no leaks. We think a valve is not working correctly. We found the manuals on the Internet for the lift, but we are having a terrible time trying to find the mechanic who knows Hydraulics to help us find the problem and fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to locate someone to help us fix this problem.
@@JoesBusBarn Lifts are nice now.. I remember as a kid.. When they broke down.. We used to have to wait for a repair to come out to fix or get us on a spare... In winter it was worse if the lift would not fold up...
@@keepingitreal71 todays buses do have the dual function lifts (drivers hate using the manual lift part) but drivers still call in breakdowns expecting the mechanics to show up and fix the issue. they don't like using the lift manually.
At 9:30 is there a possibility of trapping an air bubble in the hydraulic line while reinstalling the push rod? I think I might have seen you disconnect the hydraulic hose from the elbow fitting, does that prevent air from entering?
Did replace both seals on both cylinders yesterday ,Had same problem, (HAD) Thank you for your video. you saved me.

Are these lifts ones that you can pump down should the control box not work?
Pamela's V Log Yes. These do have a manual deploy/lift option.
