Absolute favorite Disney song . Your voice just makes it so much better. As a kid I felt I was in a world not meant for me . I just didn't belong here , this song made me feel like if I just kept going maybe just maybe. I would find somewhere where I felt welcome where people cared . I'll be honest, before today I haven't heard of Peyton Parrish. I happened to stumble on the Disney album and literally just finished listening to them all. His vocals are amazing, and really hit it out of the park not just with the nostalgia but with the raw emotion the original songs convey. Who would have thought that our favorite Disney songs would sound so good in metal? Plus, can I just say that he made a unique music video for each and every one of the Disney covers? I hope there's a part 2 in the works. This guy has earned a new fan in me! 🍻❤️

Hercules is my absolute favorite Disney movie of all time. This cover is so beautiful and I swear, I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes when I heard this for the very first time. The visulas, music, his voice, and the piano convey everything that the lyrics themselves are saying. Peyton really did this song justice, and I truly appreciate that from the bottom of my dark little heart. This cover is by far my absolute favorite! Thank you, Peyton, for doing this song such justice.

What I really appreciate about this version is that percussion is never brought in. Usually by the 2nd verse people do that. But this is a song about an inner determination and a longing that is so close to the heart, and all you need to convey that is the piano and your own voice. It stays incredibly strong and tender at the same time. Thank you for this!

This is the song I hear every night when I go on patrol of my town, I wear a badge and I feel like everyone hates me for it, I was born into it, its the family tradition and I wont dishonor them for anyone.
As a kid this song spoke to me on a level I can't describe and I would always go to watch this movie during tough times. Now I'm 31 years old going through a pretty bad rough patch and didn't realize how badly I needed this song and this popped up right at the top and now I'm singing and crying at work. Thank you Payton Parrish for all of your music and your passion.

I used to watch Hercules a lot when I was kid. I’ve seen both versions you’ve done of this song. Being a metal head I’m partial to the first version you did. That being said this version is absolutely amazing in its own right. I feel like this speaks for all the kids who watched it and have grown up. Excellent work my man, keep doing what your doing.

This song has single handily motivated me to get back into shape!
There is so much music in this world that you listen to and enjoy, sing along to, dance to and even cry to but I can honestly say that not one of Petyon's songs falls into this category. You do not listen to his music. You feel it. Heart and soul, its all there and you feel it with every fibre of your being. I have never felt this with any other music. Don't stop being you as its you that makes your music what it is.
