The pigeon MTB hey man! So the main thing you want to focus on is keeping your legs stiff and straight, you really don't need to pinch the seat. I found that pinching the seat makes my legs crooked and harder to control the bike. So to fix this just push your butt back and keep your chest over the bars. This will get your legs away from the bars but at the same time keep your body over them giving you complete control. I hope this helps and tag me in any photos or vids of you doing bars I would love to see! 🤘🏻
Okay so, Idk if you'll reply its a bit late but I throw my barspins shit footed and I can hop bar perfect and consistently. I can fakie bar blah blah but when i go to bar up a bank, it gets reaaaaallly sloppy. Like the front end drops and when Im landing them it looks mad sketchy. How do I fix this?
Hey man! Honestly its not different from doing a hop bar, the only difference is you dont have to hop. One tip I have is to try and pull up more and throw the bar a little later in the air. This will help control the barspin a bit more. Send me a vid on Instagram (@therealjrhobbs) of you attempting it and I can give you a few more pointers when I have a visual!
That cassette sounds mean 😈
