if you look up europe pull rates for packs you will get the full percentages as many eu countries consider it gambling and have laws which state the rates must be fully disclosed
You know what would make boosters more fun to open in my opinion? Make more cards per set. Often sets have like 90 commons, 80 uncommons, 80 rares, 20 mythics. And while the commons are important for draft, I wouldn't mind wotc just increasing the numbers across the board. Make 100 uncommons, 100 rares, 30 mythics. That way you can tune the packs to include more rares/mythics on average without people getting burried in duplicates but chase cards are still just as chase.
@@RipAndShip good to know. Do y’all do any discounts since the packs are already opened? What’s the business model. Sorry if I don’t understand ripping before shipping 😅
@@magic_claw No discounts, people pay us to open the packs then we ship them the cards. It's $23.49 for a BLB collector pack and $4.99 for a BLB play pack. These are all presales that start shipping July 26, prerelease day. Shipping is $6 for up to 9 packs or $10 for up to a 500 ct box of cards.
My kits are never that good. Usually get 3 rare lands and some crappy allover the spectrum rares that are good in constructed but not in limited. I always hope next time will be different.
The only loaded kit I felt I ever had was Karlov Manor. That was legit insane I think I made three times the price of my pack, including veinripper as my promo.
Just finished the pre-release event. 0 mythics from 7 packs, all rares and promo are worth less than 6 dollars. Gonna quit magic. Wish me luck on my search for a new hobby! Good luck with yallz pulls! Gonna need it.
Skimming through packs because commons and uncommons are plentiful, people want to see the rares and mythics. If people want to see all of the commons and uncommons I highly recommend scryfall
@@voni8623 If you're opening packs and you're not drafting.... then you're gambling and gambling is about money. Call it "showing no love" if you must, but it's silly to critize him for doing the thing that the overwhelming majority of channels are doing. -> skipping the commons and uncommons because they simply don't the excite the majority of viewers. I've opened plenty of packs and of course I will pay attention to rares and mythics while having an eye on some of the more exciting uncommons, because that's where the money is when you're pack gambling. I'm still apreciating and actuallyy playing a ton of commons and uncommons but when opening packs I know that I'll be getting them. Why would I get excited about copy #4 of any given common? Maybe you're deluding yourself that it's somehow not gambling and financially silly to buy a complete box of magics cards (instead of singles), when you go "ohhh" and "ahh" over every single common, even as it's the fifth copy in your box. 👀

Interesting
Dramatically lowering the pull rate of rares is scummy. I’m only a year in, but the money gouging is already starting to scare me off a bit lol

It doesn't have all the bonus sheets like OTJ did, so it makes sense it is lower, but this seems too low to me, too.
I think it worked pretty well with MKM and OTJ. They release too many sets to have that many cards.
buy singles, always been this way.
that's why I only play prerelease
That one pack with foil Lumra alt art and Three Tree City is baiting me into gambling.
Pack opening is entertainment :)
I wonder if there's enough pun cards to make an edh pun deck?
By now, I'd imagine so.
I've never went to a pre release event, and i was going to for this one, but the lack of rares is killing me.
Can't do it. Maybe for Duskmourn
Draft packs had even less...
These give me set booster vibes. Aren’t the play boosters supposed to have better pull rates for the higher price?
They're the same price as set booster and are supposed to be a mix between set and draft, not better than set.
@@RipAndShip Are they? I totally thought they were a 1$ more than set boosters.
@@magic_claw The packs are the same price at our store.

Congratulations to everyone who bought kits 👏!
Thanks!
Booster bundles are selling well.

You have looked at the numbers lol😂🎉😂🎉
I definitely do my research
Is there no patchwork banner in the prerelease bundles?
It's an uncommon, I'm sure you can get it.
there is one at 10.42 if you need some proof.
I opened one pre kit and one of the packs was missing the rare card :(
Oh no!

I am thanks for asking. I hope you're doing well, too, Pawz
Amazing! Thanks for showing what it would be like at a prerelease so I can know if I go! Are you going to any?
I'm hoping to play in the Moonshot Boss Battle on Sunday.
Nice! What do you think is the best archetype.
Thanks for the videos!
Glad you like them!
