I've had one of these for about 8 months. It's by far the easiest and simplest chrono I've ever used. I wholeheartedly recommend it without reservation. It's worth every penny it costs.
This is THE review that I have been waiting on! Thank you. I have the small FX radar for air rifles and I was hoping this would bring the same ease of use to the centerfire world...perfect.
I bought one as soon as I could get my hands on one. I’ve been using it ever since and find it is very good. I think your review is spot on. And also like you said if a person doesn’t shoot much they may want to just get a cheaper option. But for the person that shoots a lot and looking for Precision, it is hard to beat. I also found a cover to protect it that can remain on while you use it. Gray Ops is the company that has the cover. I have no affiliation with this company.
Thank you 🙏 so much for this video! I just ordered one and got it last night and I am so excited to take it for a test drive. You got yourself a new supporter here Ma’am. My channel might be tiny compared to yours, but I am growing slowly. Thanks 🙏 again!!
Being a hand loader, this will really come in handy (and fun). I really like the size, and the ease of setting up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I will be adding this to my range bag. Be well my friends.
Just purchased one and waiting for it to be delivered so I can put it to use for some of my loads. The old chrony just isn’t doing it anymore. Thanks for the video. 👍
Here is the problem I am having with the Garmin Chrono..... I was shooting 300 Winchester Magnum. The first load was a 205 grain Berger bullet and the Garmin had no problem reading the bullet speed. When I shot the Barnes 130 grain the Garmin did not give me any speed reading. I notified Garmin and they are going to let me know what I can do to fix this problem.
@@phild9813 You know it's accurate when you enter the measured velocity into a ballistics calculator (which gives you drop) and you hit your point of aim.

Excellent! Thank you!
Thanks, chrono was my next step in reloading. Held off to see how these do and I’m sold. Waiting for hopefully a sale black friday? Haha
@Albertasparkyprepper I hope they’ll go on sale for you! You know how Garmin is!
Yes, I agree.
@@jpcquadnet yep
I am glad you got this. I have had mine for a while now and absolutely the best reloading tool I own. Worth every penny.
That’s good to know!

Okay. I’ll have to check it out. Thank you!

Heck yeah! Let us know what you think about it. Thanks for your support. Just stick with it and grow one at a time! (Nice name 😁)
I would love one of those.
It’s pretty awesome
Awesome, thanks for the review. I’ve been thinking about buying one but the price is a little steep. Thanks again 👍
Absolutely! Thank you for watching!

Just placed my order for this a few hours ago. Looking forward to seeing this delivered soon!

@@ReviewThisThing I’ll definitely will be doing a video on it.
@millcreekrange good deal
Cool little machine I'll be testing one on my air rifles soon. I have the FX but it's so picky about alignment.
Come back and let us know what you think.
@@ReviewThisThing it should be here tomorrow. That gives me a whole day to look at it before I leave town. 😃
@airguntrucker haha. Nice.

Hmmm…that’s interesting. Let us know what you find out.
Yes, I need this thing...LOL Did I win one? Coolest and most efficient chrono ever
Haha. I wish I had one to give away! It's definitely awesome!
Does it work with muzzleloader sabot loads?
Ooh. We didn’t try that. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t, but that’s a great question.
@@ReviewThisThing The big question is whether its smart enough to ignore the slower sabot following the bullet.
Ah…now I’m definitely interested. Stay tuned.
Folks over on the modernmuzzleloader forums claim that it works properly … ie. does not pick up the sabot.
@drilledarmory good deal. Thank you.
Does it work with 22lr or has the bullet weight thingy for 22 ammo?
Yep. It works for bb’s even
Do believe speed accuracy is true?? I'm thinking about buying one
So far it has seemed to give us numbers we are expecting. I guess that's about the only way for us to gauge.
I’ve seen a couple comparisons with other types and from what I’ve seen they say it’s accurate. How do you know any chrono is accurate though?
Yep!
@@phild9813 You know it's accurate when you enter the measured velocity into a ballistics calculator (which gives you drop) and you hit your point of aim.
@drilledarmory that’s one way to test it
I got one of these recently. It’s almost too good to be true, except it is expensive so perhaps that brings it back to reality.
Haha. I think that must be it.
Thank You. That is on my list of things to purchase one day. Maine North Woods Hunter (Shane)
It’s pretty awesome, Shane. If you get one, let us know what you think.
@@ReviewThisThing will do.
@mainenorthwoodshunter3265 👍🏻👍🏻
Love everythimg about it except the price. Guess ill have to stay with my 1980s rabbit ears for now.
😁😁 yep - ain’t cheap!
