- How to make 200 egg incubator manual turning automatic temperature simple incubator creating is easy
in this toturial I am making a 200 egg manual incubator ,it can hatch hen,duck,quail,peacock eggs ,egg need to turn 3 times a day ,I have wired 4 bulb with a thermostat which is keeping the temperature to 100f to 101f which is a ideal temperature for hatching eggs.
this can be used in mini incubator as well and all over the thermostat temperature setting this can be used as laboratory incubator as well and can be converted into dc incubator
Three basic things one should maintain while making incubator is 1. Maintain 37.6 temperature with the help of thermostat which runs on 12v dc current and pc fan to regulate temperature inside the box.
2. To maintain humidity inside the box keep water in a container and regularly check it.
3. If you have manual incubator then rotate the eggs 180 degree twice or thrice in a day.

Air needs to be circulated in the incubator which should be same in all area
You dont use DC fan inside it.
It is necessary or not.
If we use it on single tray it effects on eggs or not.
I don't use DC fan because the heat is coming from the top and it is even on the whole tray, but if place fan it is better

How does the laminate board do with the moisture inside the incubator? Does it pucker or bubble?
No it doesn't bubble or anything, the moisture go out of the box by ventilation holes ,It doesn't stay there because the heat from the bulbs don't let it ,but if somehow lot of water get dropped on the ground surface directly it will start to bubble and start cracking from that spot.

yes it is 100 watts of 4 bulbs of 220v

it happens sometimes bulb will fuse ,need to change it
your effort was great but please make a complete equipped incubator in your video there are many things missing like there is not exhaust fan, no humidity controller/measurement tool to increase/decrease humidity. finally Thanks for sharing ur knowledge/experience .
This is a basic incubator doesn't need fan cause all the heat os all over the eggs , for exhaust I make 2 holes back side this incubator gives hatching rate about 90%

Thanks .I made it 60*60 cm with 3 tray contain more than 300 egg. Add 5 bulb holder with switch..but use only 3 bulb 40 watt filament bulb used for humidity and 9 and 14 watt LED bulb for temp.led is low heat emitt but 40 watt maintain it.add thermocol and aluminium foil for temperature keeping that help me alot.other wise temperature slowly boost.

And can I use the same method for 1000 eggs incubator? Also should the fan be attached to the thermostat as well so that it also turns on and off automatically

Thank you , you have to make a solar power bank to provide power to incubator 24 hour ,you have to insulate the inner part of box or use old fridge , yes this method is good for 1000 eggs as well , it can also cut heating element and fan at same time

It's single layer incubator it doesn't need fan as all the heat is warm the eggs equally from top side

Air is not for even heat dissipation
Air is for breathing!
On 2nd day eggs develop heart.
These egges develop small pores on shell to take in oxygen
If you don't provide any fan or air vents then you get low hatchability.
You simply add a 12v DC computer cabinet fan.
Its pretty cheap and connect it to power source of temperature module.
Do forget to add a bowl of water at botter for RH.
Last 3 days add two more bowls of water
As last 3 days are very crucial as chicks may dehydrate and dye if RH(relative humidity is lower that 60%)

In this incubator fan is not required cause it's only 1 tray in it all the temperature going directly over the eggs , temperature should be under 37.5 to 38 celcius

Hello everyone, I want to make my incubator, so I want to tell you about the dimensions and the material that will be used in order to have advice and suggestions, for a realization and a good yield:
+120cm * 40cm * 60cm height
+ 15mm thick plywood
+ 1300 rpm freezer fan
+4 60w bulbs
+ Trays of 63 eggs (40 cm * 25.6cm)
+STC 1000
I intend to put the fan sideways and leave a space of 30 cm between the fan and the eggs.
