That video of her suicide is pretty unbelievable to me. It's also not particularly accurate. There are differences in quality between the actress' voice and the sound effects (gunshot, hitting the desk, hitting the floor). There is a whirring noise similar to that of a film reel spooling, which wouldn't be on a videotape recording, even one that's over 40 years-old (it isn't surface noise on the tape from degradation, it's ambient noise). The station's timecode is incorrect-it should read "WXLT", not "ABC" (it would've read "WABC" if it were the property of the ABC network, which it wasn't), and it would've appeared on the "Technical Difficulties" display at the end as well, but it doesn't, in this video. Also, why would someone go through the trouble of faking this? I would say you are overstating the complexity of reproducing the news desk and understating the appeal of creating internet hoaxes simply for shits and giggles that some people see. I do agree that the employee at the station who said it is not genuine might -- might -- have reasons to lie. I guess that since I'm not convinced either way, I'm filing it away as unknown. But, i find it funny that NationSquid happened to find the footage, footage that appeared nowhere else before the video he posted. I mean, the guy has posted bullshit before. Like that fake GodlyRecon channel.
The nation squid footage was deemed fake. There is an audio clip available on UA-cam (if you’re familiar with lost media sites I’m sure you’ve heard it) that is pretty much accepted as the real audio. If you watch the very small Amount of footage of Christine available the voice matches perfectly and the news reports match the reports of that day as well as the wording of her final words matching reports from then. If you haven’t listened to it, it’s available on UA-cam but is very unsettling.
If there were a recording of Christine, suicide death copy from the VCR. By someone watching the TV or left it on record and would probably, have the tape recording on that channel when it happened. And that person probably have the rare for that, just tuck away somewhere in the basement or attic. Never seen a later day.
Controversial opinion time, I hated this episode. Always have, always will, even with the apology at the beginning. First off, it's pretty obvious Randy was doing this to try to gain views, which would have been fine... if he actually did a good job on this one. Look, usually he does a good job at talking about the different sides of issues, but here, not only does he swing, he misses. As someone who has spent the last 12 years of his life studying psychiatry, and currently not only has a degree, but is a therapist for a living, the way Randy talks about suicide here is toxic. Here's why: The reason why suicide is such a problem is because we keep treating it as such a delicate little subject. Anytime anyone even so much as expresses thoughts of suicide, the alarms go blaring. So people will keep their thoughts to themselves, fearing being sent straight to a mental ward. They don't go reaching out to friends or loved ones and the thoughts get worse. Then they don't seek help until its too late, and it takes years of therapy to undo the damage. I know Randy had the best intentions here, but his biggest crime was not the click-baiting, but his treatment of the subject of suicide. We treat it with such careful hushed whispers that it does more damage than good. I respect him for not re-editing this video to make it seem less-so, but that doesn't change the fact that I find this episode disgusting and completely unrepresentative of the rest of his work. Some of his viewpoints on other topics also remains troubling. He seems to feed off of dramatic moments of his own life, like when he posted that v-log exposing the personal issues of his ex-roommates (which has since been deleted). The irony is that, if his reddit posts are anything to go by, he is currently battling alcoholism (his ex roommates had problems with addiction, I'll leave the rest of the details out of it, something of which he didn't do himself). I'm honestly surprised nobody ever chewed him out for it. Point being, Randy kinda lacks the insight to actually see that he's no better than many of the people he criticizes. I say this as a concerned fan, not as a rabid, angry critic.
Man, you got the name of her show wrong. First of all, her show was in Sarasota, Florida, not even anywhere near California. Her show was Suncoast Digest. Please correct this in an annotation.
I got SEVERAL things wrong. This video is littered with factual errors as well as the incorrect assumption that suicidal people are sensitive little children that can't handle being treated like normal humans. If you want an annotation for every little error in the video, the screen would be clogged with bullshit. I added a disclaimer at the beginning explaining the problems with this video. Kept it uploaded as is to avoid looking like a revisionist.
If you want to know most of the incident just watch the documentary and watch the " Christine " movie. Although they might not be very accurate you will know alot
Remember last time everyone got angry? Good times
Yay! The lost episode of The Lost Media Chronicles!
I imagine Christine's family destroyed the original footage.
Naveek Darkroom I believe the actually did
Since the FBI obtained it maybe they have a copy somewhere are aren't saying?
Why do they like keeping secrets?

Zane Stracner 😂😂
I was waiting for a cat to run in and turn it into lunch.
Also Budd Dwyer's suicide was not broadcast live.
How did the video get out then? If it wasn't live then i assume the footage would have never seen the light of day?
Well I’ve just seen the Bud Dwyer suicide footage. It’s gruesome, I recommend anyone who has a weak stomach to not watch
What happened to episode 3?
it will be the subject of a video.
Nice weezer shirt!
