As an 18 year old, I can not imagine losing my virginity to someone who isn't gonna be my husband. I expect the same from him ofc, which is rare these days. It's about being pure and untouchable, not just virginity.

I am a 21 year old. Until now, I haven't smoked, drank alcohol, or done any other addictive substances. I have a lot of close friends who drink and smoke - during my 4 years of hostel life, 99% of the guys would smoke or drink. But I didn't, because I feel it's not right. I know that if I ever did those things, I would be ashamed of myself, and I don't want that.
Let's talk about virginity. I am still a virgin. I do feel natural cravings sometimes, but I just can't ruin my character. In a pre marital physical relationship most of the boyfriends last long in bed because of higher testosterone level, without any stress , anxiety and performance pressure. It is "NOT our body's need". It should be done at the right age (after marriage), with the right person(spouse) for the right thing(procreation). I am 1969 born now in my 50s. Back in 1988 during my graduation years in Pune, most of friends decided to experience sex for the first time. Somehow my conscience told me that you will not go for having sex. My friends made fun me, but I was firm on my decision. Later many of my friends became addicted to sex and continuously watching porn films, which eventually led to self-destruction. Their outlook towards a normal woman was just as a sex object. This even impacted our friendship forever, was never in touch with them again. A concept very well explained in the film “Pretty Women”. In my life I fell in love with 3 women at different stages of life. Once you fall in love with someone with genuine feelings you will never even think of having sex with your partner. This is sensuality and nothing wrong in having such feelings for anyone. I did express my love for them not with the idea of marrying them such, which it would have led to the 2 states like situation. Looking back today after 35 years, I would say that was my best decision.

For me, my issue is not actually casual sex (and I'm a 24f virgin, I chose to be a virgin till marriage), because as long as you don't have STDs and use protection, it should be fine.
I think casual sex and hookups initially was supposed to be just something fun with no strings attached where you can fool around and just be experimental cause you're young. It was supposed to be safe and no attachment and just a temporary escape.
