- Adam Ant arrives at Guernsey Airport in 1981 ahead of a sell out concert at Beau Sejour Centre. This is not a video! I shot this on a Bell & Howell Super 8 Sound film camera. The Jolly Roger flag was filmed in my Mum's back garden!
Like how the punk had a word in his ear about coming from leeds with no ticket for the gig. No worries you'll be on the list. Absolute top man adam is.
This is just great! saw him in US in 1982 and again 2 weeks ago. what a stand up guy he is. and still great to see live!

Some great footage of the Guernsey Ants Invasion 1981. We (me and Gary) came over from Leeds for the gig and Gary met Adam at the airport to get us in free as we couldn't get a ticket due to being sold out (which he managed to do). The whole island had tickets but us.Thanks for sharing this. I wasn't at the airport so it's great to see my old mate on film

I know this is a bit late, but what was the deal with the eye patch? Did he have an eye injury, or just part of his look?
He was wearing an eye patch at the time because he had conjunctivitis from wearing contact lenses.
Loads of kids copied the eye patch thinking it was part of the look.
These hyterical girls are sooo terrible,my ears😱😱😱poor Adam
