That's pretty clever on the hydralic press 👍 Have you got an idea of how to upgrade the gearbox of the Pulsar Pro? This should make it compatible with an 11 volt battery.
I wonder about adding one of those long 8 ton Harbor Freight air powered bottle jacks that people are using for their engine hoists and mount it down on the bottom (or side?) and using air powered bottle jacks to raise that sucker. Of course would require some thought because that idea might not let the table low enough for some jobs
@@andreacerroni9010 yes, if 2 straps came off the winch, and one went down one side, and the other strap went down the other side. Then it would keep the table level while raising.
The only thing I see is that if you need to do an axle bearing (or the like) you'll need to remove the strap from underneath the table . But not a big deal, and it's simple . :)
America! 💯💯🇺🇸🇺🇸💪🏼 great idea for sure, will be doing the same to mine !
Great idea. I have the same press and have been sketching out a cable winch system with pulleys. But yours is much simpler.
Thanks! I also started out with the plan to use cable and add pulleys, but when I figured this out and only needing to drill one hole, it was a win!

You can use an impact to crank it up but nice and easy and simple
I was considering a drill, but turning it 90 degrees ended up being simpler.
Great idea. Is there a modification to your design that would allow the table to be raised to level without the aid of hands?

I actually need to put that on my shop press. Great video dude. I'm also waiting on that tm-1 tool changer build. Did you complete it?
