It is not foreign aid, it is sponsorship for terrorists such as HTS in Syria, you should read Rory Stewart's book. He was previously a Minister for the Conservatives but was an officer in the British army previously. He was told by the civil servants when he brought that point up that it was going to the jihadists such as al-Qaida, in Syria that he had to sign the authorisation for it to be sent, he had no choice, the decision was above their pay grade.
It is one of the reasons why the people of those countries need aid, but don't get it, we are paying the terrorists and classing it as overseas aid, as we in support of the US want to overthrow those countries governments. the civil service, the senior levels of police, most politicians, quangos and large charities, public services such as the NHS and councils, schools and universities, the judiciary, MSM and so on...
...which means we have one hell of a struggle ahead.
Also, many of the "ordinary people" (ie those who the elites want to punish, demoralise, enslave and eventually destroy) are still oblivious to the danger and the evil plans of the Establishment. They are like Little Red Riding Hood, skipping merrily down the forest path, unaware there's a big bad wolf watching her very carefully and just about to pounce. My neighbour, a retired Health Visitor, said to me recently " I don't think the Government would do anything to harm us." I get on with her OK, just saying Hello in passing etc, but when I tried to elaborate on what was going on ( in a very calm and straightforward manner) she clearly thought I was insane.
But you are right that it looks as if more and more people are waking up right now and Elon Musk has succeeded in bringing the rotten nature of our government and Establishment out into the open. Looking back in history, autocratic regimes have appeared strong and all powerful but once a crack appears, people can bring them down surprisingly quickly, so that can give us hope. Daniel. Could you offer comment on personal pensions with new inheritance rules. As I understand, your pension value is now included in the inheritance calculation. As an example if you own a modest home say £350k, other assets of say £50k but have saved hard and have a pension pot of a modest 200k, the government will now take 40% of this pension On death. If your beneficiaries who are still working, they will then get taxed on income from that pension at their personal rate. If a 40% tax payer then in essence the government will be taking some 60-65% in tax. Some clarity on this would be of a great help.

Per Person! Not per room, not per camp site, not per room cost, not per night, means each person is nothing but tax object needing temporary shelter. Images of the days of fiefdoms, vassals, serfs paying a head tax, subjects come to mind with the government being the master.

    LOCKDOWN by stealth:
Raise fuel prices = 'Essential Journeys Only'.
Raise fuel prices + Tax Hotel Accommodation = STAY HOME.

We have already ruled out Wales because of a similar tax. Looks like we will add that to the rest of the UK. Abroad is where my money goes then.

The way tax works in hospitality businesses is from start to finish poorly thought out. VAT is a tax that is only good for raising revenue for the government as there are very few deductions available for the business, minimum wage increases affect hospitality more than other industries, the lowering of NI threshold affects businesses employing part time workers more again disproportionately hospitality increasing NI contribution percentage another blow for employers now holiday tax. Labour are absolutely set on ruining this country

Normal fare for Labour... they are always an economic train wreck.
This time around could be much worse as the UK is already in a v badly position.

I wonder how long it will be before society is forced to pay breathing tax. People will only take so much. My personal view is that from a legislative perspective. There should be a statute that protects citizen's from over burdening Governments. That is to say, if a majority decision is reached through public ballot, then the Government must stand down and force a re-election.
On another point... should our farmers take to striking like other officiate bodies do in this country?

@@vinniechan some may say that's a good thing (thank fully it failed) but let me ask you this... compare our UK standards to that of say EU countries where there model on taxation (albeit higher) actually provide a better overall strategy in terms of long term healthcare, housing etc. I'm simply being devils' advocate.
