this is truly the best edit I have seen of the show and believe me I have seen quite the number. everything about it is perfect and it really captured the whole spirit of their relationship, the longing, the waiting, the tension, the complex simplicity of them belonging together, the understanding of each other. you did a wonderful job and I will carry this edit with me for a long time !
what a beautiful edit! loved this show and they had great chemistry, i'm so happy to see maia mitchel hold her own she did such a great job! hope there's a second season :)
I would never guess these two actors would have the chemistry that they have. I mean, i know Maia from Disney and Thomas from Maze Runner and the old Nanny mcphee movie(i know they done a lot of other things, but it's where i know them from), if you told me they would be a couple in something and be not only a good one but an amazing one I would think that was unlikely, acting is really a great surprise sometimes.
This edit was so fucking good it made me drop everything I was doing and sit and watch the show. I have three more episodes to watch and if i cry at the end I regret nothing.
This show is absolutely perfection I am so devastated that they did one season I would have loved to see at least 4-5 more seasons of the show this show would have been a great successful
@@Cilyra how is that I was researching everywhere if they were going to renew it for New seasons there was nothing being said about more seasons to come
I’ve just finished watching this show and it is perfection, I finished it in a day(I’ve never finished a show that fast) the connection between them two is amazing, I need a season 2 My favourite show I’ve ever watched❤
I don't think the romantic type of love is special, and I think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse. Romantic relationships are pointless, while platonic relationships are not.
I think your vision of both says more about you and your priorities in life rather than different types of relationship. You can end up falling in love with your best friend, or you can grow apart. You can break up with your partner and remain good friends or make the breakup as messy and ugly as it gets. All of that is up to you, the connections you make with other people and their depth depends on how mature you are and weather or not you're willing to invest in a certain person/relationship with them. And even though I understand the frustration you may be going through - cause we live in a society that praises romantic love and tends to undermine friendship - I think it is plane rude and silly to call romantic relationships pointless - cause it's up to you to make them deep and meaningful and if it's not your thing at all - that's ok. But it wouldn't mean that they don't make sense it would only mean that they don't make sense to you - which is once again fine. I also tend to think that pop culture set our generation for failure (I'm 22 so an older gen z) cause as kids and teens we were given much more good examples of life-long friendship but when I think of romance in literature and movies of early 2000s and 2010s couples I remember are often toxic, their connection lacks depth, communication and ...honestly anything. I'm talking about straight couples and as far as I can remember those usually were to conventionally attractive people and that's it. He's strong she is the main heroine. For queer couples it was slightly better I guess but they were also still pretty rare. So that might be a reason as well. I don't think one is or can be better than the other cause we all have different needs and priorities. (sorry for any mistakes, English is my second language)
@@parthianarrow5874 There's a lot of dangers and risks to romantic relationships, so they should be avoided. The concept of romance should be removed from this world. Most parents hate the idea of their daughter dating and getting married someday and want them to be single for their whole life because of how dangerous romantic relationships are, while most of the time, they're ok with their daughter having platonic friends. That's because romantic relationships are far more dangerous than platonic relationships are. Most parents (both fathers and mothers) who have daughters are hoping their daughter never dates or get married and remain single for their whole life because it's much safer to be single than it is to be in a romantic relationship.

There are a lot of toxic romantic relationships, while there isn't that many toxic platonic relationships. Like an example is that abuse happens a lot in romantic relationships, while abuse is rare in platonic relationships. So there is a lot of abusive romantic relationships, while there isn't that many abusive platonic relationships. You're most likely to be harmed by a domestic partner. So being single is actually safer for everyone. Why do you think abusive romantic relationships have a term for them called "domestic violence", while abusive platonic relationships don't have a term for them? It's because abuse in platonic relationships is very rare, while abuse in romantic relationships happens a lot. And also, a lot of people cheat on their romantic partners with someone else, while most people won't do stuff like that with their platonic best friends. Also, I heard that most people can live a life without romance and can still be happy. But most of the time, if someone doesn't have any platonic friends in their life, it can affect them really bad mentally; much worse than living a life without a romantic partner. In today's world, less people are dating and getting married now, and they seem to be happier being single rather than being in romantic relationship with someone. Also, you're going to have a much deeper spoken understanding and connection with your best friend than you are with a romantic partner or spouse. So those are other reasons why romantic love isn't real or special, while platonic love is.
According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner. More than 50,000 women a year are killed by their intimate partners - current or former husbands, boyfriends, or lovers. There is no corresponding number of men killed by female abusers.
they are cute, young and passionate and all, but what they lack and what I long for desperately is the mastery of acting, the way they express the emotions lacks depth, their acting is not as convincing as for example that of Kevin Costner or DiCaprio or Tom Hanks, it just doesn't move me. Those people of another generation had more too them, they were fascinating, and still are wherever they star. These newbies come off as just narcissistic cute-faces
I agree with you to an extent. Most of the time with shows nowadays the actors don’t have that same wow factor like DiCaprio or the others mentioned. But Thomas Brodie sangster (Jack Dawkins) on the other hand, I have always thought him to be a superb actor.
