Nolo Are you a singer or artist ? You clearly fully understand music, its structure / composition and are passionate about music which was very evident in your reaction to Freddy and Monsterrat Caballé . Oh and very now and then you sing a few words. Id bet you can sing kinda well.

@@NOLOos I think you can sing from just hearing a few notes and you have a musicians ear. Dont let self confidence be a stumbling block. Book half a day in a small studio with an engineer Take some backing tracks for songs you know and lay your vocals on top. You'll learn loads from the experience. As the saying goes... "Jump and the net will appear"
Howdy- you point out interesting things that most people (and even "vocal coaches") don't do. It's clear that you are studying music. Since then, many well-known artists, including Aretha Franklin, did a cover of this song.
