I just love how the Doom slayer ignores the soldiers as he remembers them as comrades.
I love how he got annoyed so he just pulled out the crucible.
Realistically, they probably wouldn't fight (Darkseid's Parademons are close enough to the demons.), but let's say they did: The Slayer outmatches Superman in almost every way. Strength, speed, stamina, durability. Really the only things that Superman has going for him are his Kryptonian abilities such as heat vision and flight, which we saw that the heat vision does jack shit (let's be honest, demon fire is much hotter than Kryptonian heat vision) and the Slayer can easily leap up to Superman's level, or use the Super Shotgun's meathook to swing around the battlefield like Spiderman. Not to mention Vega could constantly be running analytics to find all of Superman's weaknesses, including Kryptonite. From there, the Slayer can just open a portal to the nearest bit of Kryptonite, have it stashed in his back pocket (as we saw) and the rest is history.

Doom Slayer augments his guns with hell energy that could be considered magic based. Biggest misconception about the Slayer is his guns are normal, when he wields a weapon it's enchanted with hell energy.

Next is that Doomsday once was ended when his soul was taken and absorbed. Well seeing as the crucible absorbs any soul that it kills it then would take Doomsday so you are wrong the Slayer could kill and keep Doomsday.
Edit: I also was not saying Doomsday is Moon level I was saying that is his strength level since he once was punching a planet in anger that was about the size of Mars and all it left was craters he did not even get past the epidermis of the planet.

Doomsday is on par with Superman in strength, it's shown countless times in the comics and sometimes he even overpowers Superman, considering some versions of supes can simply sneeze away solar systems and others can punch reality out? Yeah no.... Doomslayer is strong but that's not a contest, he would also get speed blitzed to hell if you actually know anything about post crisis supes or the fact that doomsday can keep up with the flash...

@@Project_MakeshiftWasTaken I believe that it can withstand more than that. Pretty sure it's completely indestructible actually. The UAC put incredible stress on the praetor suit, and it didn't even scratch. One of the tests I remember is when the UAC put the suit through temperature trials. Even Absolute Hot, or 4,000,000,000,000°f for extended periods of time wouldn't damage it.

Animations (fananon most of the time) and Canon are serperate ideas. The doom slayer, even with his kick ass arsenal couldn't defeat super man without the kryptonite...Canon doom slayer absolutely wouldn't be able to considering super man is literally immortal when not under the effect of kryptonite. And yes, doom guy is also practically unkillable but that's for whole different reason. His weapons are modified for demons...not for immortal super humans who he wouldn't pay mind to. Yes I wrote a paragraph very poorly to try and win an argument that I didn't even know existed. You're welcome.

This DOOM Slayer is basically playing with this Superman, since the DOOM Slayer is capable of super speeding beings that launch attacks at speeds that go beyond FTL, Faster Than Light, He possesses immeasurable speed in both movement, evasion, and strategic thinking so it was easy to guess that Superman couldn't see him.
