I just wanted to thank you for your help getting me into the world of programming and game dev I used to watch your videos when I started years ago and I really appreciate all the effort you put into making this content
First of all, thank you so much for making Virtual Cottage. It really helped me boost my productivity and gain back momentum when working. I really love it and it is awesome that you've released it for free. More recently, it even inspired me to start making something like it myself, just for practising game development. Again, thank you for developing this and good luck with Virtual Cottage 2. Looking forward to it!
To be fair as a software dev myself, most software is held together by hot glue and dreams 🤣. What matters is the final product, in virtual cottage is awesome!
Right now we are looking at giving the player one item (plus all its color variants) every day they use the app. Getting started is the biggest hurdle, so rewarding that seems like a good choice. How long it will take to unlock everything then depends on how many items I'll be able to make :)

I absolutely adore Virtual Cottage - I only wish I could get it on my work computer when I need to dig into focused work!

You should make progress really slow so that it takes you months of irl work before you fully upgrade your cottage.
I kinda like this idea too.. somethings should be earned overtime show your journey of how you use this app.

What happened to the game from last video??
We are always working on multiple games :) and the videos are always 6-12 months behind
