I recently "discovered" Jenny, and I absolutely LOVEthis wreath! I'm going to try it with pink tulips and purple tuips!
So glad you’re going to make one!
A little tip when buying flowers I check all the bundles to make sure that they all have flowers on the tips before purchasing!😊
Yes I do that too when I shop in stores. Most definitely!
The wreath is gorgeous! I really like how you take the time to check/fix the flowers before they go in the wreath. Pink is so pretty and I like the white tulip wreaths too. All of them are so nice, it's hard to pick a favorite. Thank you for sharing this good info 🌷🌷🌷
So glad you like it! Thanks for watching! 🌷 🌷🌷

Was just at Michaels last night picking up some hot pink tulips, now I need to go back to pick up some of the blush pink tulips. I love that color combo!! Thank you Jenny for posting this tutorial and all the supplies needed, your wreath is Gorgeous!
Oh nice! So glad you liked this tutorial! I love the blush pink mix so much. It compliments the hot pink so well doesn’t it??
@@JennysWreathBoutique It certainly does, I was debating with myself while at Michaels and after seeing how amazing your wreath looks I’m going to incorporate some of the blush pink tulips. Would you ever consider doing a tutorial on how to make a tulip carrot swag?
So beautiful!!🌸

fav combo is pin, lavender, green and white/cream...just beautiful my dear! xoxoxo
Aren’t those colors so pretty together? That was one of my most popular ones. And thank you 💜
I love your tutorial. You do an awesome job of explaining everything. I was wondering how the hot glue would hold up on a front door. Have you had an issue with the sun melting the glue and the flowers falling out. Thanks so much!
So glad you liked the tutorial! I have not had any issues with the glue I use. It’s linked below. As long as it has good contact with the grapevine you should be fine. Just don’t use the cheap generic glue. I have had problems with that glue when I first started my business. That’s why I switched.
Hi Jenny it's Teresa from n Ireland I was wondering do you ever use straw wreaths to make any of your creations I use them all the time I find they make a nice full wreath and I am loving all the work you do I get a lot of inspiration from you xo
Hi Teresa! I don’t, but maybe I should! I’ve thought about it for awhile actually, but just haven’t done it yet. So many ideas, so little time!
I make my tulip wreaths with these Michaels Tulips as well and I am very annoyed how insecure the heads are. I love them tho. So many gorgeous colors.
Right?! It’s definitely worth the extra step to make sure they’re all secure. But they do have so many pretty colors 🙌🏼
Purple tones
Beautiful wreath. I love tulips. Did you use 6 bushel of each color?
Thank you! Yes, I used 6 of each color 💕🌷
I am from Malaysia, I think it's cute however it's quite hard to get a wreath here (almost impossible😅 coz nobody does)so I decide to make it on my own. Thanks for your video.
Your wreath are beautiful. What is best type of wreath holder for beginners? Also I was told to use wire instead of glue as glue can get on your door or window. What's your opinion?
Thanks so much, Lynne! I prefer hot glue, but I also use floral wire in addition to that depending on the kind of wreath I’m making and the kind of stems I use. However not all hot glue is the same. I use one that is really good quality and withstands temperature extremes. So there’s no worry of glue getting on your door. I haven’t had that problem, and I haven’t heard of that from any of my customers. My favorite glue is linked in the description of this video of you’re interested :)
Hi Jenny! I’m going to try to make one of these for my door and I’m wondering what setting you used on your glue gun? High or low?
Hi! I almost always use the high setting.
Jenny, I love all your work! Roughly how many tulip bunches did you buy to use for this wreath? I don't know if you said and maybe I missed it?
I prepped 12 bunches for this wreath, but ended up only needing about 10 bunches.
@@JennysWreathBoutique Thank you!
Pink
Hi Jenny! Love this wreath and your attention to detail. If you don't mind my asking, how much do you charge for this version of your wreath on Etsy? Thank you for generously sharing this tutorial with us. I've seen other making similar ones, but they don't measure up to your quality. Again, thank you!
Hi! So glad you liked it! For this exact wreath, I would charge $94.99. And that price is with free shipping
Thank you so much! You've really inspired me. If you ever want any tips or help with intricate seed beadwork or painting barn/shed quilts let me know.🌞
Are there any sprays/treatments you could use to "seal" the wreath base (grapevine) &/or the "greens &" blossoms to help it to stay weather/sun resistant? Thanks for any help or advice you might be able to offer.
There are some UV sprays out there. I’m not sure about water resistant, although I’m sure there is something. I personally haven’t used any, so I don’t have any good advice for you there.
Jenny, if you were just working alone in your shop, how long would it take you to prep and create this wreath?
This wreath takes me about an hour to make 💗
@@JennysWreathBoutique Thank-you so much for answering questions so promptly. I am a grandmother raising 5 grandsons and I make wreaths and crafts. I am trying to prepare to get active on Etsy for income, and I'm learning a lot from you. Very grateful.
I've been watching all your videos as I'm thinking about opening an ETSY shop to sell my wreaths and a few crafts. I'm new to crafting but quickly became addicted! Its extensive, time consuming and space consuming😬 so I know I have to find a way to make this a sustainable hobby! That pretty much means I have to sell them to keep creating them! A part of me is afraid to start on etsy because I ask myself if I have enough products ready to list and how sustainable I am for sales and I'm also afraid because if I fail I will really feel like a fool having believed I could make arts and crafts and make money and I do not want to get stuck with all my crafts and materials 🤢....
Yes it’s definitely addicting! I would recommend starting slow and growing slowly so you don’t overbuy. I go over this more in my wreath maker VIP group, but you don’t need a ton to start! And you can’t worry about being ready, or wondering what others are going to think. That will just keep you stuck, and suck the joy out of it. Have you seen my video about how I started from scratch? I had a very slow first year and learned a lot through my mistakes. I’m so glad I kept going though!
Beautiful!! What size wreath did you use? If you said it, I missed it. Also, when selling in Etsy how do you plan for a best seller? Do you just stock up on seasonal florals? I’m sure you never know which one will become a best seller so if it’s seasonal florals how do you continue to make it?
I used a 14” grapevine. As for planning for best sellers, it’s hard to know until you’ve sold a few what will be a popular item. But there are some things I do sometimes to help it become a best seller, especially if it’s made out of materials I can get a lot of year round. As for seasonal flowers, I stock up on florals that I love and I just know will be popular. Then if the wreath they’re in becomes a best seller, I will stock up as much as possible. I hope that makes sense. Usually other best sellers will give you clues as to what may become popular in your shop. For example, lamb’s ear is popular in my shop year round. So I can make different versions for each season that also sell really well.
I love it! But my fav color is violet! Can you make violet tulip wreath?
I love this wreath with violet! Yes, I have made a tulip wreath in that color.
How long are your stems after you cut them down?
Probably about 3 inches. I don’t measure it or anything.
How many bundles of tulips were used again? Beautiful!
I ended up using about 10 bundles.
Jenny what kind of clippers/wire cutters do you have? I got a pair at Home Depot , but are so bulky and wanted something to cut through a big bouquet of wires.
I have them linked in the description under “tools.” I’m blanking on the brand name right now.
Would this fit between a door and a storm door?
It could if you used a flat enough grapevine! And make sure you angle the tulips so they lay flat against the grapevine. I have done this for customers before and it worked out great.
Hi Jenny! Where would I start if I’m using a bow.
It’s up to you! Personally, I would make the wreath like normal and add the bow afterward. You can always take a few pieces out of it’s too full where the bow is. 😊
@@JennysWreathBoutique good idea. Thank you
do you spray your wreaths with UV protect spray?
I don’t
Ok you’ve never had a problem with the flowers fading in the sun if used on the outdoors on a door?
@@dianewood1142 I personally haven’t, but my door is under a covered front porch. I haven’t heard anything from my customers about fading, but I always recommend that the wreath has some cover from the elements. I don’t think it hurts to put it on. It probably helps. I just haven’t done it personally.
How long are you final stems (after prepping?)
The stem part is about 3 inches, but sometimes I cut them shorter. I don’t measure them though. This wreath is tedious enough without adding another step! 😆
@@JennysWreathBoutique 🤣
How many bushes do you use for the 14 inch wreath?
Hi Susan! I use about 12
@JennysWreathBoutique Thank you so much for your super quick reply. I ❤️ your channel. I used to be able to watch your lives when I was laid off during covid but now that I am back to work I have to watch your replays. Thank you for all you do!!
What do you do on the back of the wreath
I don’t really do anything on the back of the wreath. I angle the stems so they won’t stick out the back. If an occasional one sticks out the back m, I’ll cut it off. I just let the natural grapevine shine on its own.
What size is your wreath? And how many bunches of Tulips did you use?
This wreath is about 20” in diameter. I typically use 11 or 12 bushes of tulips for this size wreath.
I don't think hot glue is necessary per se as I have made alot of tulips wreaths and they hold up well outdoors as well
Yes, for personal use, you can probably get away with not glueing them in if you have a tight enough grapevine, and are only planning to have the wreath up for one season. However, it’s so much nicer and more sturdy if you do use glue.
@@JennysWreathBoutique yes I do agree especially if you don't have a covered porch...nice items i would love to sell my items I create but nervous too lol..would love to share some pics with you to get your opinion if that's ok
Live tulips!! Where do you find such great 14 inch grapevines?
Michaels!
Hi Jenny. How much would you sell something like that for?
Hi! I sell this size in my Etsy shop for $94.99 and I have a larger 23” size made on an 18” base that I sell for $157.99. Both of those are with free shipping.
💖🤍💖🤍💖🤍💖🤍💖
So beautiful tulips 🌷 wreath!! I’ll try to do this! Thank you 🙏
