Why can't there be more teachers like you?? Usually, I hate classes because of the teachers. It's as if they just want to teach and get it over with and don't even try to connect with their students like you do.
Ive been told such similar things, and the only advice i give to you is do what you love because at the end of the day it will be you doing it! Not them. Once they see your passion, they will accept it. I wish you the best of luck girl!

I just started teaching high school social studies at a small school in Florida. You are such an inspiration to me! I used the idea of the one word project in the first day as well and I have them hanging on the wall behind my desk. I adore my students so much already and am disappointed by the negative things I heard about them prior to starting. They just need to be encouraged and taught in a warm, safe environment and I’m glad I can bring that to them. The moment I've seen that you've uploaded is the happiest moment of my day. I have had a hard time for a few years where I don't feel like I'm myself. The small things you do each day to take care of yourself are seriously such important little moments that need to be incorporated into life. Thanks to you, I've started a grateful journal and been inspired to read and write more. I've been taking time to get to know myself again and have put forth the effort to be kind to myself and others every single day. It's a slow process, but I am starting to love myself again. English teachers are the best!! I had a teacher sophomore year and she was just the sweetest person ever like she genuinely cared for each student. I loved going to her class every day! My other teacher that I had for English 1 and and AP Lit was so understanding and had a good bond with the students. She's the reason I want to become a teacher

I know that I don’t have the social skills to be a teacher, but my home room teacher recently said something that kinda made me want to be a teacher, even if just for a moment. So the other day, something particularly stressful for teachers happened, so he sat us down during our home room class and talked about what was going through his mind. He told us that there’s a lot of bad things and good things when it comes to teaching, but one of the best feelings ever is knowing that every single student that you ever have, will remember you in one way or another. Whether it’s barely at all, or as the teacher that changed their life. Whether it be as the fun teacher, the boring teacher, the annoying teacher, the hot teacher, or the funny teacher. Whether it be for good or bad, teachers always have a significant place in every student’s memory and journey of growth. And for him, that’s the best feeling ever.

I have a question that I thought of after you mentioned talking with students that you see are not writing or doing their work. How do you like to approach those situations? I feel like finding a balance between avoiding some embarrassment for the student but also keeping them on track is difficult to find. Thanks for your content! i wish i had u as a teacher, i am a year 10 (sorry grade 9 im british so we do year) GCSE student and our teachers are so boring and mean like no joke if we forget a pencil we get a signiture and if we get 3 of them we get an hour detention i honestly think if i had a teacher like u i would pass everything haha, also do u have anytips of spelling,grammer ect and breaking down big paragraphs for example like having to explain a character in romeo and juliet
