He can't destroy, and their request was to make a copy of her using her parts. That's why they worded it that way. Human Penny was a byproduct of him "not destroying stuff" If their wish was to make Penny a human body it would have ceased to exist when the next use was made.
In more specific words: Now here's what makes my brain weird. I understood the Penny thing perfectly well on first viewing. See, Ruby specifically asked for a robot duplicate of Penny MINUS HER SOUL. Doing nothing with the soul would've destroyed it and Ambrosius can't DO that, so he HAD to make her a human body. BUT, Ruby JUST AS SPECIFICALLY didn't ASK for that, so THAT body didn't poof when they made the portals.
I believe that what Ruby ask to create was just the robot replica, the “human” aura Penny wasn’t part of the wish and that one of his rule is that he can’t destroy what already exist.
Here's how it worked: So, Ruby asked Ambrosius to create an EXACT replica of Penny, using her robot parts, WITH THE VIRUS. Ambrosius took in mind that Penny has a soul, that's why he wondering what would be left with a soul without a complete body. Ruby gives him the idea, to leave the real Penny, the one with a soul, the human Penny, as a separate entity, from the new Penny, the one Ambrosius made, the one with the virus. With this, Ambrosius made a new mechanical Penny with the virus, but also made a vessel for the real Penny, again, this is the one with a soul. Because of the virus, that new Penny was destroyed.
From what I understand, Ambrosius is meant to be an allusion to Merlin, but also ties into the Blue Fairy allusion for Penny. I wouldn’t be surprised though if they also included Hephaestus in there too
Blue Fairy was female. Since Penny is female they changed the gender of the Fairy/Genie. Most of these Artifact Entities are combinations or powerful Character from diferent fables that were good.
4:11 Winter Just Pulled A Zantetsuken On Ironwood. P.S: If You Remember, Tyrian Said That He And Mercury Are Heading To Vacuo So They Are Not Out Of The Woods Yet
I just thought of something. The vault in Mistral looked like a desert, and the vault in Atlas looks like a spring meadow. I wonder if each of the vaults looks like each other's kingdoms, like the vault in Vacuo will look like a forest in the fall, and the vault in Vale will be a frozen tundra.
Penny didn't disappear because Ambrosius didn't make her, he made the robot Penny, using Penny's existing robot parts, just Like Ruby asked.. "Real" Penny was just what was left over. And as we could see for a second thru the eye's of robo-Penny, it looks like she doesn't actually have a physical body. She is 100% Aura. Or at least, that's what it looked like.
all i can say is this, so SPOILER if you dont wanna know how Penny will fight at this point onward. She uses her maiden powers to fly and make crystalline copies of Floating Array.

Winters take-down of Ironwood was an animation that we've never seen before. I want an explanation of what the hell that was, because if it was just some throw-away animation they put in because it looks cool, imma gonna be pissed.
to clarify some things, androsius (forgot his name) created a copy of penny with her parts and the virus, lets call this penny B. what was left on Penny A was her pure soul, and it looks like shes not exactly human, from the penny B POV we can see shes like a construct of aura, after they make the portals the penny B body disappears coz of the only 1 thing at a time rule
RWBY quote of the chapter _“Do hugs always make you feel warm inside?” (Penny)_ I guess a correction is in order; the last chapter wasn’t the penultimate chapter. -Phase 1 Amazing that taking down Ironwood went through as smoothly as it did. But it had gotten to the point to where support for his actions had made things harder to where his allies questioned him, with Vine now somewhat questioning the actions they were taking. I still can’t understand why he kept Winter at his side. After what happened two episodes ago, one would think he would be more suspicious of her, but it might be because of his current mindset. Because he is so focused on one task, he seemed to not pay attention to everything else. Winter could have been in serious trouble, but after seeing the Mantle rescue scene, he locked on to that and his counterplan too much for him to care about anything else. Winter’s words to him is the most telling in the scene, showing how far he’s gotten even to his closest soldier. And in a way, she was looking for some kind of hope that, just maybe, there was a chance for him. But Ironwood made his intentions clear. _”I hope you’re not going to talk me out of it.”_ _“…No, sir. I don’t think that’s possible”_ Ironwood verses JNR, Oscar, Emerald, _and_ Winter. A short, yet awesome fight to see. Admittedly, that’s seems a bit excessive to fight one opponent. But then again, Ironwood is an expert Huntsman, headmaster, general, and he did come in with a cannon. The standout parts was (1) Emerald remarking how weird it was that she was fighting with the good guys, (2) the team-up with Winter and Oscar with their combo attacks (although she also used it with Nora; electric glyph) and (3)… …Winter apparently using a level/gauge 3 super-move on Ironwood. While it might have been really awesome to see a straight fight between Qrow, Robyn and Marrow against the Ace-Ops (specifically Harriet vs. Robyn), Marrow’s ability made it so that there wouldn’t be an unnecessary battle. This shows the difference between teams. Team RWBY gained the same support that Ironwood lost, and those still with him were already showing signs of concern.
-Planning and Phase 2 It’s good to see the hope return to Ruby’s face now that there was a plan to work with. Rather than keeping the vault sealed, they would use the Relic to save Penny, the people of Atlas and Mantle. However, it would mean that Atlas would fall, destroying both it and Mantle. So in a sense, this could now be seen as The Fall of Atlas. It does seem to remind me of the theme/ending of _Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok_ where Asgard was to be destroyed while the Asguardians would be saved. _“Asguard’s not a place, it’s a people.” (Thor)_ Then there’s the issue with the spirit of the Relic. Like Jinn, he has a limitation when it comes to his power, being that specifics are needed. This means that the team would have to be very thoughtful about their plan, Whitley coming in with the help with the evacuation and Ruby being detailed on what they needed to do in order to save Penny after the vault is opened. Seriously, her semblance has become really useful once she understand it (Penny’s help) as a quick teleport. It’s also a good thing that time paused once the spirit was awakened. A lot of elements in this chapter reminding me of _Lightning Return: Final Fantasy XIII…_
-Ambrosius When Ozpin described him as a character, he wasn’t kidding. Artisan, which apparently involves being temperamental. His rules are like another part of the genie in _Aladdin,_ such as not being able to bring people from the dead. But his requirement of him saying that he will need exact directions is reminiscent of _Wishmaster._ It also seems with regards to the two requests, he seems to have two points of views, saying that their ideas can be either a good one or a bad one. I had to re-watch the first request just to understand it and I still don’t have it figured out fully. Doesn’t matter… Penny is safe. And…
-A real girl (After a moment or two of happy cheering) There may be one or two questions about this. Since her robot parts were removed, creating the soul in form and making a body for her, is Penny actually human, or is she something else? Ambrosius did mention that he had to be creative with what to be used, how much will be Penny and how much will be what is his. Could Penny be a new being, something akin to humans and faunus? And that’s not including her power as the Winter Maiden. Also, now that she is no longer a machine (that self-destruction scene was _really_ creepy), she is more vulnerable (not including her Aura). Will she possess the same experience and ability she had before? Granted, she has the power of a Maiden, but will she be able to use her fighting ability? Will she still be combat-ready, especially with hungry usurper lying in wait?
-Transport to Vacuo Plot-reasons aside, it seems somewhat strange that the team wants to the people of Atlas and Mantle to Vacuo. Going by climate, a people whose environment is in the cold (tundra, ice sheets) will have a difficult time in a desert region. And dealing with refugees will cause issues in the current kingdom. And the people itself deal with a huge culture shock. But in this time of war, it cannot be helped. Vale is still suffering from the Fall of Beacon, so it may not be the best option. Mistral has the space as it is the biggest, but it doesn’t seem to have the best security. Seeing the portals in Atlas/Mantle; definitely thinking of the climax of _Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame._ And while their plan has gotten through, that one ominous warning from Ambrosius definitely puts in a change in the stakes. _“Do Not Fall.”_ And the scene near the end of the intro brings worry. Initial, it was a worry that seeing the team falling and having Grimm hands around indicated something to the river of Grimm from earlier on. But this just may be worse. Seeing that the central point is a realm outside of Remnant, dropping in there is like falling into a possible endless abyss.
-Infiltration And once again, Salem’s tactics come to the fore. Watts’ interference has already created a state of panic by cutting off Jaune’s broadcast at just the right moment for maximum emotional damage (points for timing). And Cinder is in wait within the crowd, taking her time for strike rather than just charging in like before. That may also means that Neo is within the group as well. If one is to guess, Cinder has set up Neo to deal with Ruby while she goes after Penny. If Cinder is still following her mandate to leave Ruby alive and using Neo to kill her instead, then it a good guess that Watts doesn’t know about it, which is why he is still working with her. And Salem has yet to make a re-appearance…
Oh right...Central Location is basically walkways over an infinite void...DO NOT FALL.xD You think maybe they should've peaked into the doorway first and said "on second thought ,can we add a grassy landscape for the footpaths to rest on?" I'm noticing Ambrosia is like Jinn...hes very literal. Jinn told Ozpin "You Cant" ...but, i have a feeling Jinn was telling him in caps as in "YOU cant" You as Ozpin.
Lol, if my bestie doesn't point at me while saying "you said that" at a pitch that can break glass, that's not my bestie. Get you a friend who hypes you like Cal hypes Hunter at 14:43
I love how they used Ambrosius’s nature against him to bend the rules. He could never just leave Penny’s soul without a body, because that would basically be death, and he can’t bring himself to Destroy. It’s applying munchkinry to high-concept fantasy. Like when Aladdin traps Jafar in the lamp.
7 days ago I thought "yooo I wanna see Murderofbirds, Calxiyn, and Freelancer Amber's reaction to this episode" but yo this episode is nothing compared to the next
To be fair, the schematics they showed of the snowshoe shipping company looks SUPER tiny from afar. Still should of asked for some brick tunnels like hunter said.
Penny doesn't have socks and shoes because her robot body doesn't have, the hand and legs that looks like gloves, shoes and sock were actually robotic parts. Ambrosius made 2 copies of her, one body with a copy of her robotic parts and virus and one body that Ambrosius made in his own will where he only copied was the soul, which means that the human body of Penny isn't a copy but a bonus from Ambrosius.
Penny is a real girl now?, looks like Pinocchio got her wish, and the first thing she does is hug Ruby, and Yang, and Blake, and Weiss, she loves hugs a lot 13:36 - 13:48 and 13:53
The lines that really make me feel things in this show are absolutely not those that you would ever expect. For example, if we ignore the V6 OST, thanks to this episode's music, the most emotionally resonating line since the V5 Blake short is "be strong and hit stuff".
Now here's what makes my brain weird.
Penny WATCHED HERSELF DIE. Also has two dads now. I have discovered I suck at describing my interpretation of what Ambrosius did to make Penny's new body. I hope someone clarifies or brings all the options to the table soon.
I think the limitations of real penny is they asked the staff (can't spell his name XD ) to create a new robotic Penny, the real Penny is a by-product and he did and didn't create her. It's stretching the line but I guess it makes sense.
Okay most people seem confused on penny 2.0 The Penny that survives is the ORIGINAL penny.. they built the 2nd Penny by transfering her robot parts and the virus to the new body. So really they made a cheap imitation and moved the virus into the copy.
OMG I just realised you could tell it was a fake penny that tricked ironwood bc the real penny never says “don’t” she always says “do not”. That’s smart. I didn’t realise that sooner somehow
Hephestaus was the Greek god of the forge, but he was stated to be hideously disfigured. Also has anyone played Kid Icarus Uprising? Remember Pyrrhon? Ambrosius's voice reminds me of him.
the maidens power attrached to the Aura aka Her soul she's still the Maiden. she just not as durable or physically strong now. and Pietro might have to reprogram her weapon since they used to activate on the same frequency as her
Ambrosius didn't create Penny's new body, and I actually don't think it's actually a "human" body at all. He simply created a new robot body without her soul in it, leaving her soul behind to create something new. But when her old body looks at her with what looks like her heat vision, it doesn't see any heat signals at all, it just sees aura. I think her new body is literally made of aura.
I hate to be that guy but... can ya'll maybe not put spoilers in the title? I saw the title before watching the original. Either way, love ya'll's reactions, I always look forwards to watching these right after the original episode.
What if team RWBY falls and (like the fairy tale we’ve heard about the girl who fell through remnant) Ruby falls to a world where Summer is still around, Yang falls to a world where Raven never left Tai, Weiss falls to a world where she stayed the heir of the Schnee name/her mother maybe not locking herself in her room all the time and Blake falls to a world where she never left Adam and the white fang???
My theory is that those who fall will get randomly teleported. While they may be alive it won't be ideal because then they could end up being dropped anywhere or at least anywhere in the Kingdom of Vacho.
Penny lifts up Yang, and jumps up on Blake. Is this low-key confirmation that Yang is a Top and Blake is a Bottom? Not that we needed to be told, but...

-Chapter 12: Creation
RWBY quote of the chapter
_“Do hugs always make you feel warm inside?” (Penny)_
I guess a correction is in order; the last chapter wasn’t the penultimate chapter.
-Phase 1
Amazing that taking down Ironwood went through as smoothly as it did. But it had gotten to the point to where support for his actions had made things harder to where his allies questioned him, with Vine now somewhat questioning the actions they were taking.

If Cinder is still following her mandate to leave Ruby alive and using Neo to kill her instead, then it a good guess that Watts doesn’t know about it, which is why he is still working with her.
And Salem has yet to make a re-appearance…
Oh right...Central Location is basically walkways over an infinite void...DO NOT FALL.xD
You think maybe they should've peaked into the doorway first and said "on second thought ,can we add a grassy landscape for the footpaths to rest on?"
I'm noticing Ambrosia is like Jinn...hes very literal. Jinn told Ozpin "You Cant" ...but, i have a feeling Jinn was telling him in caps as in "YOU cant" You as Ozpin.
Penny is an out. Abrosious technically didn't make her, he took the robot parts to make a copy and what was left became new Penny
Yes, yes you can ship them. I'm already waiting for my fanart and fics.😂😂😂😂😂
To be fair, the schematics they showed of the snowshoe shipping company looks SUPER tiny from afar. Still should of asked for some brick tunnels like hunter said.
Winter finishes Ironwood. Hunter: That's anime as fuck!
That about sums up my reaction too xD
Penny doesn't have socks and shoes because her robot body doesn't have, the hand and legs that looks like gloves, shoes and sock were actually robotic parts. Ambrosius made 2 copies of her, one body with a copy of her robotic parts and virus and one body that Ambrosius made in his own will where he only copied was the soul, which means that the human body of Penny isn't a copy but a bonus from Ambrosius.
Ambrosius (can’t spell): ah! Free to create and…oh it’s you guys again…
Lmao!!! Every time!!!
Cal: "Can I ship them? Am I allowed?"
I MEAN SHIT I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE--
Holy shit that’s actually a good name for them 🤭🤚
is there a point in her life when she never stopped smiling
its scary
In Chibi they SHIPPED Qrow and Winter, but after some of what ive seen, im not aure?
4:15 the natural youtube thumbnail
Penny is a real girl now?, looks like Pinocchio got her wish, and the first thing she does is hug Ruby, and Yang, and Blake, and Weiss, she loves hugs a lot 13:36 - 13:48 and 13:53
The editing in this video seems a lot more... idk... playful?
Idk but I love it
The joyful 'up' before the falling down...down...Down! (;]D,
17:16 can she be cold if she's the winter maiden?
I’m so happy for Penny!
The lines that really make me feel things in this show are absolutely not those that you would ever expect. For example, if we ignore the V6 OST, thanks to this episode's music, the most emotionally resonating line since the V5 Blake short is "be strong and hit stuff".
Now here's what makes my brain weird.
Penny WATCHED HERSELF DIE.
Also has two dads now.
I have discovered I suck at describing my interpretation of what Ambrosius did to make Penny's new body. I hope someone clarifies or brings all the options to the table soon.
We talked about it last Tuesday in its own video, our interpretation of what happened I mean if you’re curious!
What's interesting here is that _Ironwood could always have done this and chose not to_
How many episodes is this volume?
14
@@wtfmeech ok thanks
ok so he warned them not to fall so OBVIOUSLY someone's gonna fall
Yup! We made a whole theory about it on Wednesday!
@@calxiyn ah... I missed that, thanks for notifying me about it!
Cinder has maiden powers that let her fly... she’s clearly not going to fall in the path to Vacuo.
It's just like the mirrors in alice throught the lookinglass!! cx
It's the Gungun !!
Hunter said what I was thinking
Account Balance: $1400
You said early reactions on Patreon right?
I think the limitations of real penny is they asked the staff (can't spell his name XD ) to create a new robotic Penny, the real Penny is a by-product and he did and didn't create her. It's stretching the line but I guess it makes sense.
So are we going to talk about how ambrosia sounds like mirage from apex
Okay most people seem confused on penny 2.0
The Penny that survives is the ORIGINAL penny..
they built the 2nd Penny by transfering her robot parts and the virus to the new body. So really they made a cheap imitation and moved the virus into the copy.
Sweetheart, I love your enthusiasm, but I can't hear anymore..😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
OMG I just realised you could tell it was a fake penny that tricked ironwood bc the real penny never says “don’t” she always says “do not”. That’s smart. I didn’t realise that sooner somehow
Hephestaus was the Greek god of the forge, but he was stated to be hideously disfigured.
Also has anyone played Kid Icarus Uprising? Remember Pyrrhon? Ambrosius's voice reminds me of him.
does that mean penny is still the maiden or is her power gone?
the maidens power attrached to the Aura aka Her soul she's still the Maiden. she just not as durable or physically strong now. and Pietro might have to reprogram her weapon since they used to activate on the same frequency as her
Winter went Vergil for a moment
Can i ship them? she says.....some people already do
BE STRONG AND HIT STUFF!
creating the door through the other kingdom penny wont be gone because it cant be destroyed because penny is now a human its the rules
Yeah, we made a video talking about it last Tuesday!
I think her new body is literally made of aura.
ohhh man I wanna see y’all watch episode 13...
Why ambrocious sounds like Markiplier
I hate to be that guy but... can ya'll maybe not put spoilers in the title? I saw the title before watching the original.
Either way, love ya'll's reactions, I always look forwards to watching these right after the original episode.
I'm just teasing.😅😂🤣
Well now I have an even bigger crush on Penny
Oki random thought, imagine the sword of destruction is just a girl who's a tsundere
Oh god a sword that represents Weiss?
@@darkwhispersstories47 omg yes pls lmfao or at least a extreme version
Lou Ferrigno Jr for Ambrosius
Cal. My ears.
5:30 I say you’re allowed
@@TheSkyrider27 hmm that’s a good theory... I didn’t even think of that
Penny lifts up Yang, and jumps up on Blake. Is this low-key confirmation that Yang is a Top and Blake is a Bottom? Not that we needed to be told, but...
Nice reaction
Hephaestus and I thought that too
Cinder falls hahaha good pun
Honey, ship whoever you want
The Ambrosia scene just doesn't make sense to me. That's also compounded but the fact that his rules are all broken within the same episode
We made a video about it last Tuesday! I’d suggest checking it out as it explains the scene.
Marrow x Winter ship name Arctic Dog
I hope there next reaction is less fan screamy?!
Oh my goodness
I ship WhiteWolf
reminds of hephastus the greek god of forge and fire
Wizard of oz follow the yellow road
You guys had a lot of coffee before this right?(not to be mean)
You guys are going to cry and yell in episode 13 no spoiler ;^;
¿What the heck? 3:24
