They should have asked DJ to re work his contract and keep Barkeley. Nabors and Saquon command double teams. Which would have meant either single coverage for Darius and Wandale R. As a result of the coverage that would have taken pressure off of the o line and DJ . This is bad on Joe S. And Daboll. Any person with rudimentary knowledge of football would see this.

To be clear, Jalen being bad on third down does not mean the same thing as other quarterbacks. He has two downs to get the ball close to the sticks before taking a deep shot. If the shot doesn't connect, they go for it on fourth down. You kinda have to combine third and fourth down conversions.

In the interest of fairness - The Giants have a solid roster when it comes to solid offensive line, wide receivers, 2 legit young tight ends and strong defense. All they need is a quarterback. That's the only real weak link in the chain. There is talk about the possibilities of the Giants being a strong candidate to trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Mathew Stafford. He may be 36, But he still has a couple of good years left in him. The Giants could get him and with luck - Get Arch Manning in the 2026 Draft.

Without a shake up of some kind the Giants are definitely in the bottom of the NFC East for possibly this and next year.

I agree that The Giants GM is pretty bad. I mean of course he is, he got hired SOLEY off of what Brandon Beene did, instead of his own merit. But to says Dabol has done a good job is a really bad take. No offensive guy that’s a good coach should ever be only scoring 3 points, against a defense that can’t rush the passer. It doesn’t matter who your QB is. And it’s not like it’s the 1st time. Dabol has way too many games were he completely fails at what the media says he’s good at, the offense. Dabol got pretty lucky one year and barely made the playoffs… even though they got outscored that year. And maybe Dabol will make a good head coach someday, buts he pretty bad right now.

Mara is lying and being fake. He had two years to negotiate a contract with saquon. The fact that Mara (and co) was relying on the market not being friendly for running backs was indicative of how they felt about bringing back your best player.
Should have kept Saquon and tagged Jones while looking for a replacement in the draft.

In the interest of fairness - The Giants have a solid roster when it comes to solid offensive line, wide receivers, 2 legit young tight ends and strong defense. All they need is a quarterback. That's the only real weak link in the chain. There is talk about the possibilities of the Giants being a strong candidate to trade a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Mathew Stafford. He may be 36, But he still has a couple of good years left in him. The Giants could get him and with luck - Get Arch Manning in the 2026 Draft.
Daniel Jones fooled one GM to draft him at six and another GM to give him the money bag. That is some serious talent to fool two GMs. As far as quarterback talent, not so much....

Sounds great, makes for good headlines. But no way Mara gets rid of him. Mara loves Jones, and now its obvious that Mara drafted Jones, not the GM. Jones was NEVER a 1st round draft choice, but the Giants pulled the trigger none the less. Loads of people were scratching their heads at the pick and look how badly its gone. Few owners have the real skill to run a team. Shame ego forces them into making decisions. Their ego should have them select the best GM and let that guy run the team.
I disagree on Sanders. he is not a NFL 1st rounder. He'd be good for the 2nd or 3rd. He's throwing is actually sub-par. REC have to readjust and the throws a lot of "up for grabs" passes that the better athletes at Colorado win.

Long long time fan here. Love football. Played a lot. Coached. Etc.... Giants need to block better and tackle better. That alone would make us competitive. No one can throw in under a second. No discipline at all on D. No contain, no moving to fast paced on offense from shotgun. As far as roster. Plenty of talent

I blame the Giants continued demise on Eli Manning and the Giants organization as a whole. Their allegiance to Eli Manning has ruined the Giants. They listened to him and drafted Jones. That pick, then not franchising Daniel Jones and alienating Saquan Barkley will set them back probably another 5yrs. Its been 5yrs since Eli retired. So 10yrs of being horrible is in the Giants future.

Daboll is not a HC, OC but not HC. Last year, the coaching staff was a train wreck and they had to pay Kafka not to leave. In 2022, Winks D and #26 helped win a few games and they played a terrible Vikings team in the playoffs. This team is consistently undisciplined, unprepared and out coached. Josh Allen made Daboll, not the other way around. 48 yr Giants fan here and I can't watch these clowns anymore.
