Masvidal signed his new deal on the last fight so I could see the ufc offering him a big number per fight and offering him ppv points for the fight against Colby only as they were the main event and not sure he’s worth ppv points on a card like this where it’s mainly Alex vs Izzy that’s bringing numbers in.

The UFC won't the same without Dana. At one point he said he already chose his replacement and he currently grooming him to take over. That gave me hope that the UFC won't as a sport wont change but I don't think that anyone can really fill Dana's shoes.
The truth is that Alex is a natural light-heavy weight and it will be more advisable for him to fight in his natural division rather than cutting excessive weight during fights.

Rather unreal the last UFC event in Miami was back in '03. Mind you UFC frequents Florida events alot - you should expect Dana to host a minimum of a PPV event per year in Miami.

Izzy lost to Alex 3 times but he dominated those 3 fights so that's why his mental game would not be affected in this fight, it actually helps him for this fight cause he knows that he is a better fighter then Alex, but Alex kicks as Joe Rogan and Izzy said it just another level
I wouldn’t say dominated, but all fights were extremely competitive with both fighters having moments. Truly the two best strikers in the world.
Definitely did not dominate. He was ahead on the score cards but Alex’s game plan was always drag him late and finish him which worked twice. It’s a clash of styles. Funnily enough, Alex was actually doing better in this fight leading up to the ko than the 1st mma fight but it was just a brilliant shot that finished him

I was at the boxing event in Milwaukee and it was a great show considering it is only their 4th show they've done! Yeah, Roy Jones Jr. is 54 but you never would've known that watching that fight!

Man for those who doubted izzy, really need to go learn fighting or study it. Anyone with fight IQ knows izzy wins that strike game - he's way too smart in there n every loss izzy has gotten from him, he was winning the rounds prior to the KO/TKO. Izzy is arguably the best striker in UFC history in terms of technical,distance control,IQ etc... if his wrestling was as good as Jones, I'd even place him above him
It's crazy, right? He is, by far, the superior fighter! & IS THE greatest striker in UFC history... for multiple reasons! Those who disagree only do so because they are not looking at the big picture objectively. They have their subjective-thinking-caps, dislike for his personality & their feelings in tow when they step into the booth to pen/cast that ballot!

Hey I just gotta say there is no better face of any major sports industry/company than Dana. No bullshit. Tells it how it is and admits when there is places they can improve. Huge fan Dana. Loved the card. One idea I would float is a super card where all 5 fights are championship fights. I know I would pay for it and I’m sure I’m not alone as well as the gate you could pull off. Just a thought
