Otherwise if you want to get a software job, choose only coding branches because ECE waste your time if you want to enter into IT field. And if you are from tier 3 college ECE, getting placements in core branch is a hard task. You need to again prepare for gate and enter a tier 1 or 2 college mtech to get good placement rate. So the conclusion is if you want to to do job after 4 years choose cse or IT. Otherwise, take 6 years time to get into core domain if you are from tier 3 college and don't choose ece to enter into IT field

Basically if students are interested to study in civil engineering study only in top colleges like IIT/NIT and if you want to study civil engineering in tier-1 and tier-2 colleges you should have some reference to enter into the core field and as a fresher candidate you have to struggle more in civil engineering to survive in that particular field and more over now a days civil engineering students are not getting proper placements because of experienced candidates if you see last 20 years students have opted civil engineering course nearly 80 percent at that time because there is no demand for cse branch at that time think once before you study civil engineering...

Study well in CSE and gain real-time experience thru Internships and part-time jobs for free. U will find some job for sure.

Hello, I have something to confess. I'm Varsha, a 12th passed out (MPC) student with 88.9% in IPE, 10L CRL rank (53%) in mains and 1.4L EAPCET rank. I had a plan to do CSE-AI ML in my B tech but I'm not having an opportunity to get into that good colleges within the budget (around 10L - 4 years) that I can afford. I was given a chance to choose Automobile Engineering in VNR VJIET college through some referrals where I can do an optional Minor Degree in AI ML after my 2nd year (if I have an eligible GPA only). Also there's something called electives where I am supposed to pursue 4 subjects other than Automobile Engineering. The fees is 1.35L per annum which I can afford. They said that the former students (22 out of 30) of this branch mostly secured IT jobs and you can switch like this the same way, also you can choose CSE subjects in electives if you're interested. Moreover I do not have any specific goal about my career, it was just that to take CSE - AIML. So yeah, would you suggest me to choose Automobile in VNR or join in any tier 3 colleges and learn courses outside. I really really need your help for me to take a decision about this. I was given only 24 hours to decide about the admission process. Hence, hoping for your reply as soon as possible🙏.
If the college placements are good enough like if they select from automobile branch also for placements then yeah, even if you take this you can work hard and figure out what's best for you!! Or else you can always prefer other colleges
