  • Nassau County remains committed to improving and maintaining its infrastructure. The dedication of the Board of County Commissioners and the men and women in the Road and Bridge Department continues to strive toward excellence. Maintaining around 170 miles of dirt roads and 437 miles of paved roads, Nassau County's Pavement Management Plan is projected to increase the frequency of road resurfacing from 86 years to approximately every 22 years. Since 2021, 167 roads have been prepped and resurfaced - all without raising county taxes.
